My husband and I had a similar experience as the Brockbanks. The church didn’t ask us to go but the Lord did through the spirit. We left our careers and home and family to serve as health advisors in the mission field. It was an amazing experience. There were difficulties but we saw the hand of the Lord pretty much daily in the missionary work.
Interesting, appreciate being able to hear the audio of the Prophet’s creation. It’s amazing to me how reliable New Testament sources are and how even our grasp of the Greek language it’s written in increasing our accuracy of the translations. Hearing something from somebody who actually witnessed Jesus doing something versus somebody writing about something hundreds if not, thousands of years later is really cool.
