@@RiderInRed The mic in the wind with all the surrounding sounds of traffic and insaine ambient noises changed the exhaust sound from what my ear hears. Maybe because it's so loud, it cant record the sounds accurateky that close up. Sounds really muddy to my eats j.f.y.i. but its what i could record sound wise. I wouldn't allude to buying this part just for the sound aspect but it is one of the unique things added. The one key benefit to buy this is to haul ass when accelerating hard through the gears. Question to consider is how much will you use it? I dont count on it all that often but it is a lot of fun to use when you do. It can get more pricey too because first you buy the DQS plug and play quichshifter and then you most likely will have to pay your Ducati Dealership to turn the feature on in the bike. Check with you dealer about that cost. Ducati service is like taking in a Ferrari or a Porsche into their dealerships for service work. The dqs has to be turned on with the Ducati software by a tech. Also, my video doesnt do this little shifter device justice but it was my 1st try at making the video snd just out of the blue and i wanted to put out on YT quickly. I was super rusty riding the bike as it been held up on the garage due to cold weather, rsin and snow/ice. Note even though you hold the throytle wide open while shifting woth the quickshifter you can see my throttle hand rollinh pf the throttle some. Takes practice and repetition to be able to use it best!
@ appreciate your comment. I got a quick shifter on my MV Agusta F3. I do clutchless shifts on my R1 and Monster. Clutchless is almost as good as a qs, but the sound isn’t quite there and obviously the feeling is slightly different. The reason I’m thinking about it for the monster is cause of the downshifts as well and mainly cause of how short the first gear feels compared to my sport bikes. I think I’ll jump on it within the next few month once I got time to fiddle with it
I'm glad I got it, adds to the fun. I sort of did a poorish example of good runs but doing this stuff in the busy city makes me apprehensive plus doing it on camera just adds complexity. The sound with you human ear, its sounds wonderful and feels just as good. almost seemless like a dual clutch transmission on a GTR.
Now we’re talking my brother! Bikes and snakes….. officially the best channel on my RUclips now!

Does it sound good in person?
I'm considering getting one myself but haven't bitten the bullet just yet. Got the exact 821 monster
