Like Taylor Steele's last movie The Show, Loose Change features a comedy subplot that creates an alternative reality based on "What if the best surfers in the world didn't surf?" Conan Hayes sick backhand, Ross Williams's massive gouges, Timmy Curren's ridiculous airs in one of the best segments in any surf video, Machado's Mentawai clinic, Dan Malloy's pennywise psyching ripfest, a young taj burrow showcasing his world class talent, Bruce Irons showing why he had a premo room at the Pipe house, and Dorian plus Kelly. What a great f@cken surf flick!
