Neena, I at this time, just want you to know that many of us don't come & watch your Vlog to always see the happy go lucky you that you mostly are. I thank you for including your Mum's battle against this shit thing we call cancer. I lost my Dad who had cancer at just 39 years old, I was six. Please send my love to your Mum. With these new tips you are giving is GREAT! And Lisa! OMG, that bit really put that nurse in her place. Loved it. I was a nurse & would NEVER of said that to any of my patients. She is in the wrong job, for sure. I always said 'If I can finish my shift & put a smile on at least one patient face, my job was done. As you know, I am now on the 'other side' with my disability & only want a great team around me. With one Provider, I have asked for two people to be removed from my service & my reply was met with crap. "oh fine but now I have to find others & it's so hard, blah blah fkn blah. I'm calling my Plan Manager tomorrow. Forget me babble. Stay you, don't think we want you to change for one bit. We enjoy the good, bad but never ugly from you 💕
Great tips .....may you continue to stay as strong as you can during this difficult time with your dear Mum...Get lots of rest....thinking of you....xxx
Big hugs to you and i am so sorry for how they are treating your mum and if clients are in group homes it does not work the way you say as the co-ordinator does it all and they don't even know them or come and see them so they don't get the funding that they should
My heart goes out to you Neeny, and Mumma too. Good on Lisa for saying that to that nurse! And loving your NDIS tips xx
