This is the second part that tells us about the easter rebellion of 1916. It is often eclipsed by the Great War. But over six days, Dublin was gripped by a rebellion that tore the city apart and left causalities on both sides. But this powerful film does much to remind us of the significance and sacrifice of the soldiers who fought in a place many called home.

Didn't mention the shelling of Dublin by the warship Helga during the rising.....which caused an awful lot of the more serious destruction.

I’m 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and loyal to The Crown. I never knew about King Street and the murders that occurred 🙈 It leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth. Thank Goodness 🇮🇪 and 🇬🇧 PEOPLE are today the best of friends.
