Smart mama. Got in the water, found an easier place for the baby to get out. So many times you see the mother try and try to get the baby out exactly where it fell in. The others watching will learn from this.

No, the calf was attempting to suckle from her and she was pushing it away to prevent it from doing so. Elephant moms are protective of their milk supply if they have calves of their own.

Sigh.. you ever seen a "elephant calf slips into water hole" clips that ends any other way? Have you ever seen an elephant calf clip, where it isn't explicitly spelled out, in terms of the fate of the animal, that ends any other way? If so, you're lying, because its rare to the point of non-existence.
@@elizabethbank5971 I've unfortunately started watching videos of baby elephants and they turn gruesome towards the end with hyenas or lions eating them and the title to the video did NOT make that clear. I wish what you said was the truth !
