Thank you for uploading and sharing this well researched video. Urbanization and rapid deforestation have consistently shrunk the happy hunting grounds of elephants and other wild animals. It is good to see that conservationists are working flat-out to halt and stop the brutal total eradication of wild life caused by poaching ; wild fires; deforestation; urbanization and other factors.
It's hard for me to understand how, while tears come to my eyes, other people take pictures together with the sleepy elephant, and just captured. Excellent work by all participants, 100% professional. I pray for a world free from animal cruelty and injustice.😪😪😪🐘🐘🐘

This elephant would have undergone and emotional breakdown due to loss of its family. The feeling one gets when kidnapped or shifted to an orphanage. It's better to find ways to protect the animal in its home than to transfer them to a different place.

What was the reason for capture of this specimen of an endangered species? You open yourselves to the criticism and outrage of persons such as "andre rasement" below when you don't give an explanation.
Firstly: I am not sure that the African elephant is an endangered specie and secondly andre rasement present his comment in a non English language which is bad taste. The video and the majority of the content is presented in English and comments should therefore be in the same language.
In India, Africa, China (and many third-world countries), they use elephants to lift heavy weights - move cut down trees in deep forest and load heavy materials in the truck. Its ivory-trunk is a very valuable material. They make many things out it by hand-craving; it has some medicinal value too. Many thousands elephants are being killed every year for it in these countries. As seen on TV, young elephants go through very difficult time when they are caught. But later they become very friendly and loyal to their masters. Elephants allow its master to sit on its top and obeys his instructions to lift or move the stuff. They get plenty of favorite food - palm leaves, banana leaves and other medium size plants in return. They are well fed and having great time with their masters, in fact. The elephant master- called 'Pappaan' (Malayalam language) - sleeps near him in wild forests or at a construction site. The elephant becomes very loyal and friendly to his master after a while.
No rocket science required to work out where this was done. It is clear that the animal was not handled in any cruel manner, the location is therefore not important.
