    i finally finished it!! took me 4 days but i did it 😭 i’m not used to the size of the yarn so it took me awhile, but it was so worth it! it’s so cute! although i think i made a mistake making the panels, one was shorter than the other so i made invisible decreases and thankfully it still turned out even. really grateful for your tutorials! 🤎 however, i just wanted to know if there’s a way i can add a button maybe? or something so the items inside are more secure. thank you for this nonetheless! 🤎

    • @brittanyalicecrochet
      @brittanyalicecrochet  2 года назад +2

      That’s awesome to hear! :) just off the top of my head, you could maybe make a loop at the top of one of the panels and then sew a button onto the other panel. the loop would wrap around the button to secure the bag a bit. I have another purse tutorial from about 2 years ago where I used a button, so you could check that out for some inspiration too :)

      Yes, you could measure out the size of your laptop and use that measurement to adjust the number of stitches. A laptop bag is a good idea!

    Hi, may I ask that is the strap of the bag strong enough to not become loose easily or stretchy when I put things into the bag?

    • @brittanyalicecrochet
      @brittanyalicecrochet  Год назад +2

      With the type of yarn and hook size that I used, the strap is strong and doesn't stretch. But I don't put too much in it, only my phone, wallet, and keys so keep that in mind

    • @brittanyalicecrochet
      @brittanyalicecrochet  2 года назад +1

      This was a scrap project, so I’m not 100% sure how much I used but I think it may have been a little over 1 skein of the yarn I used which was 150yds/50g. So maybe around 60g! I’m sorry, it’s just a guess though hopefully it helps a bit :)
