    What do you mean by the increase . I did 28 single crichet in the 2nd row, and what do i do next, or is it that I have to do 28 +4 = 32 single crochet . Pls reply

    • @madebylunda
      @madebylunda  Год назад +4

      Increase = make 2 single crochet in the same stitch
      So the 2nd row is:
      2 single crochet in the same place, 28 single crochet, 2 single crochet in the same place.
      Because you make 2 in the beginning and 2 at the end, they are 4 stitches together. This is why 2+28+2 = 32
      I hope I could help you.

    • @asassynation9955
      @asassynation9955 Год назад +2

      You could try a few different things to be able to close the top:
      1) You could leave out the decreasing bit at the end so that it doesn’t slope, and then you’d be able to put a zip into it (you might even be able to put a zip into even if you kept those little slopes, but it might be a bit fiddly)
      2) You could crochet a little flap onto it - again, you might be better off leaving out the decreasing step near the end and make the sides a little straighter, or, you could keep that step but just make the flap smaller instead of making the whole width of the bag, for example: making the flap only about 8 inches wide or something. If you did a little flap, you could either add a magnetic clasp onto it or you could make a loop and sew on a button to close it.
      3) You could just put a magnetic clasp straight onto the bag and that would also close the top - or anything else that could close it, such as press-studs, buckles or whatever.
      I might end up making a little flap as well, and I will probably do a scalloped edge around it, so you could definitely do something like too.
      I hope I’ve given you some good ideas! I think I’m definitely going to go with either a zip or a flap with scalloped edging because I really love pretty edgings! Lol! Making a flap is pretty versatile too because there’s a few different options for closures, you can sew on a button, use a magnetic clasp, use a buckle, you could also just chain a long piece yarn and tie it into a bow to close it - there’s quite a few different ways.
      Good luck! ❤

      I used DK yarn. It is no matter of the skein weight. It is depends of the yarn thickness or yarn weight (3). Other option that your tension is tighter than mine. Try to choose a bit bigger hook.
