Nice video. The presentation is good, and you've discussed the costings quite well. I do hope we'll be able to go there someday. Btw, I'm surprised a Filipino song (Da Coconut Nut) made its way to Iceland.
Thank you for this amazing video! I’m planning a trip with family and wonder if it’d be possible to know where you rented the motorhome and how you experience was with the rental company. Thank you so much 🙏
Hi. Very nice video. Useful and informative. I noticed you guys are 7 but able to rent 6 person motorhome. I have been trying to rent 5 person campervan from different companies, but as soon as they know we are 6 person they said it is illegal and they are not allowing it. How do you guys do it?
you can’t drive motorhome, if the wind is more that 15 m/s - and we had one day like this that’s why we should wait one day in campsite till wind storm stop. And also most of motorhomes have manual drive
Hey Girl, Can you say a bit more on what accessories where present in the motor home and what else did you get like pillows or kitchen utencils ? Did the Gas cylinder last long enough for your gourp for 9 days ?
Hi! I added kitchen utensils and bed linen set while booking for additional price. Gas was enough, because we mostly used it only for hot water for tea during days. All big meals we cooked in campsites’ common kitchens
Sorry, I have one more question. Since you were a group, how many check-in bags (large) and cabin bags (small) did you had ? and did they fit comfortably inside the motorhome ?
Sounds to me you guys got ripped off good. 50€ for a missing plastic cap and over 600€ for a minor scratch on the car? You have to know that it is not because they ask you to pay that price that this means you have to pay it without question. These rentals usually are already insured for damages done by natural causes but they just want you to pay extra for it, this means you are not liable for stone and weather impacts on the vehicle. You are only liable for damages and accidents you have caused on the rental vehicle yourself, just as it is with a standard car insurance. All vehicles are by law insured for damages done to other peoples cars and property so that means the rental cars are already standard insured for damages done to other parties so do not pay for that when they offer you that option of insurance because you will be paying for something that is already insured. But damages caused by natural wear and tear cannot be charged on you so never pay that bill when they shove it in your face because there is nothing they lawfully can do about it against you. And always read the contracts first before you sign anything. And also check out the basic laws of car insurances of the country you plan to rent a vehicle in. But in most modern european countries the same insurance laws apply so normally all rental cars are insured. They often just offer you to pay for particular insurances that already are in place for the vehicle your renting because the vehicle is already owned by someone or some company and therefore is already insured.
As an Icelander I will say this. We have the same problem as Japan, Hawaii, Canary Islands. Tourists who come see our island and behave extremely rudely and carelessly. Of course not all, but still a lot. Trash everywhere, in our protected nature, people driving offroad because it's cool however it's illegal and you're destroying the nature, it takes hundreds of years for moss to renew itself so your tracks will not disappear so fast. Tourists poop on the streets, yes poop I'm not even kidding it was on national news a couple of times. Don't be the tourist who thinks he's the only one in the world and privileged in every aspect. Don't take pictures of people randomly as if they were cultural monuments. Show respect, clean up after yourself, leave Iceland the same way as you found it. READ WARNINGS. Our beach called Reynisfjara, is a very dangerous one and there are warnings literally everywhere. Yet so many tourists still get themselves into trouble and waste the time and energy of our rescue teams, when they might be needed elsewhere for more serious matters. If you can be wiser, and be careful, you can prevent these things from happening. Of course accidents happen but the dumb careless accidents are indeed preventable.
Hi good video, but I wonder how much do this motorhome weigh with everyone. I think you have overweight, and can only take 4 people include you and the driver. And they cannot sit face to face. If police stop you, you have to pay bill.

Hi "Girl From Earth", I am a "Boy From Earth".
Hehe but I have a Man from Earth
Dumb question - Did you say all passengers in the motorhome have to be over 25 ? So one cannot be travelling with kids ?
good question)) maybe it's only works that way for the company we traveled with..
Where you from? Unique accent
Hehe😅 thanks) I’m from Ukraine
