I find Caron pounders are healthier yarn like bigger, sturdier and not stretchy. I love both RedHeart and Caron one pound...they both have places in my arsenal.😉

I really did like them. My daughter bought me one about a year or so ago and I did not like the color. It was varigated red,white and grey. I liked the colors, just didn't like shortness of the color changes. If you can use a coupon with your purchase at joann's you can get a pretty good deal on 1 pound of yarn! haha

This way you have a lovely family treasure to pass down! Very cool! I rarely use Super Saver but I bought some specifically to make a tree skirt. I’ve been checking out different patterns. Thanks for sharing this one. I’ll have to check it out! I’ll have to see which red I chose. I know what you mean about reds! Yours looks great. The red may be an have orange hues but it’s nice and bright!
My treeskirt is that size too. I used creative grandmas pattern and added a bunch more rows using Jayda in stitches pattern. I changed the colors, I just used Caron party in Red and White, so it is sparkly....

Yep, this is my 3rd Christmas using it...no tree sap, but plenty of needles stored in there from last year!
