  • Florida East Coast Railway Train 202 today. Did a short pace today. Traffic was a bit tight and there even was a school bus to start blocking a smooth pace. Attention on the driving I almost missed the wave and that the crew noticed me on the pace today. Well after having paced a number of times over the years I will mention there are those times when the train comes and there is no safe way to pace. Summer time is the best for pacing in this location and you can come across three trains some evening while there is less traffic and longer days.

@tartopfan The RW&B is from Rail America. Not sure of all the specifics but FEC has their colors still they had a few units painted to rep for Rail America. Thank you for watching.

You might like Parallel Action videos made near Bombay India. It is quadruple track, and it is not too difficult to film express trains from locals.

To go anywhere from my house I preferred this portion of track. They paralled a remnant of old N&S single lane Hwy. It also gave green lights for drivers providing that you paced. The sound of different Engineer's use, and many units with old horns was fun, and one unit only squeeked or chirped like Europe's, and it did for years.

@@dtunzzlistener American horns are designed as musical instruments, very loud, agreed, but musical. In Europe they are intended to acknowledge the chief's whistle and little else. Indian Railways have adopted many American ideas, and Indian horns are the loudest American horns money can buy.
