  • Hey everyone.
    Here is this Sunday's video!!!
In this video I analyze the two fundamental texts of Taoism - Zhuangzi and Tao Te Ching - in juxtaposition with Stirner's The Unique and its Property (The Ego and its Own) in terms of stylistic approaches, and ponder on why and how Max Stirner's Egoism has resisted commodification as much as it has.
    I hope you enjoy.

I really enjoyed reading your written essay. That said, the video format allows more of a connection with the essay. Prior to acquiring The Ego and His Own I acquired the Tao Te Ching. It is unfortunate Taoism has become commodified.

Great video, Daoism and Egoism have many connection points, and it's nice to see this niche covered!
I'd like to add as a Daoist researcher, that Daoism also has an authoritarian interpretation that has been historically somewhat dominant.

Love this video. Have you ever explored Camus and his Absurdist philosophy? I think it relates very well to Taoism, Egosim and Deleuzian thinking as well.

Btw, I'd love to know (if possible) where I could get a physical copy of Wolfi Landstreicher's new translation of The Unique and It's Property. I live in the UK tho.
