After a serious auto accident last February, I listened to this song and I Can't Let Go as part of a mix every day as I learned to walk again at 68. Hours and hours on a stationary bike in physical therapy for 12 weeks, every day. Thanks kids for helping me get through a trying time in my life.
I come back to this cover time and time again. I remember when this was popular with Dianna Ross and the Supremes in the early 60's but the Foxes do a "supreme" job. Thanks.
I love how clean and simple the vocals are. They aren't over produced or showing off. Just pure talent.

R.I.P. Scott (Bass Player) These folks are THE BEST COVER BAND EVER!! THAT'S from a "Life-long Musician (Guitar & Voice) & self-professed Audiophile who GREW UP in Motown (Detroit) in the 60's when these songs were NEW! WOW. I was IN Detroit as a young boy when "Diana Ross & the "Supah Supremes" had this hit NEW on radio. Like this just as much! ❤❤🩹💔💯🥰😍🤩
I also grew up in the Detroit area and used to be one of the few white faces at the annual Motown Review. I love Motown and wish F&F would sing another one.

I never really analyzed the song. Just listened to its sweet goodness. Though I have to say, I am partial to having Maggie as the lead vocalist. Most of the time. Not that she's better than Sammie. Its just a matter of opinion. Chase is good, but in my opinion, meh.

The Phil Collins version is more soulful and edgy. This is a very good performance.
Maggie's lead singing has it's own special feel, and she puts it out there effortlessly......and of course Sammie is right there on B/U vocals, not one member missing a beat or note........nice, nice job

They cleared another Million views! True talent stands the test of time. It still amazes me that they continue to "nail" songs that were recorded decades before these girls were born.
There can't be too many musical things in the universe more wonderful than Maggie's vocals here, though I feel bad focusing on any one member because everyone is just sparkling on point. What a great complementary performance, and recording!

Maggies voice is at its very very best (last verse) . Tim there must be other stuff you filmed that day … it should be out there even if it’s repeats of songs you’ve already put out. Maggies voice deserves it.

I cannot get over the excellence here. Its as if we are watching a single mix of every super group do every song you ever wanted to hear again performed in one place. The musicianship is outstanding, but the vocals, the harmonies ....I can't find enough superlatives to describe how good they are. And all together, its sheer perfection and joy.

Whoever did the engineering did a damn good job. Usually live recording sound nowhere near as good. Mixed perfectly.
Bandleader Tim Purcell, on keys here, is the guy. He's an absolute wizard at recording and mixing live (and outdoor!) performances.

I think they will both look back on these years and have great memories of what they did in the world of music. The band is just so together, the musicians, singers, and Tim the magician who keeps it all together. I hope that someday before my life is over that I can see them in-person. I'm 74 so time is not on my side.
Memories for a few fans too. We waited 5 long years to hear Maggie sing again, didn't know if we ever would, until there they were in that little video asking what they should cover next.

I just found these guys last night. They are amazing. They cross over different artists and genre's from the 50's to the 2000's, and are great at all of them. These 2 girls sound about as good as the 3 original Supremes. just incredible.

Not only was it 7 years ago, they were only 19 and 20 at the time.
Came back to this performance a year later. Still love it. Sure, Maggie carries it but Sammi's harmony is right on too.

One of the BEST covers of a Supremes tune! I have to listen at least once a week! Vocals are world-class!
I think that's Amy Wallace saying "Yeah!" at 3:10. For those unfamiliar, she was the lead singer of the Mustangs, and later that afternoon, would sing "Roll With It" with Scott King, and background on "Walking In Memphis", both videos on this channel. Five months after this day, she would connect Chase Truran with the band, and the rest is history.

Just came across this group and all I can say is WOW!!! I absolutely love this version of "Can't Hurry Love". I know this sounds dumb, but I like this version more then The Supremes original version. I am no music expert, but I could listen to these two young women sing this song over and over. Just something really special how their voices mesh.

Every time I come across this one, i am reminded of just how incredible this rendition - of a classic song - really was...outdoors performance and all!
The whole performance...instrumentals & vocals - were simply wonderful! Lucky was the audience that was there to hear this - live.
The Mustangs show that immediately followed must have been quite an attraction, too. Sort by date; it's the next two after this one, "Roll With It" and "Walking in Memphis". Swap in Amy Wallace for the two Foxes, add Scott McDavid on keys, and F&F became The Mustangs. Fun fact: Amy was Fox #3 Chase Truran's music teacher.
