Hi, I am setting up a new Voron 2.4 r2 type printer, I am using a BTT M8P with a CB2, when everything is ok I would like to get started on the ERCF too but I already have the extruder in CanBus to connect to my M8P and I can't yet find a video that shows what to do in this case... I must directly put it in parallel with it, remove a 120ohm resistor, move it?
@@Crydteam Hello, with a Can Bus network we can add quite a few, I don't know how many exactly, they must be put in parallel, but there must only be 2 120ohm resistors to connect, normally one at the start and one at the end. end and between we add the others. But after a search I found a card that BTT manufactures, the CEB V1.0, with 5 departures and two arrivals possible, or 4 departures if we use a terminal, so the M8P will be connected to it and everything else on it, it There are also jumpers for the resistors on it to close the network directly on the card, I'm waiting for delivery to test that
This is a true masterpiece!!!! Is this strictly for Voron printers, or can it be used with others?? Can full size (1 kilo) spools of filament be used with this??
This is usable for all klipper printers. It dont depends in the filament spool. Only the buffer should be Choose depends on the build size. This buffer Design is not the best for long bowden Distance.
One big Question: Does anyone know whats the final size of the ercf 2.0 is? the most important for me is the height, because im limited because my printer stands inside a cabin.
The best Option is to download the cad and measure it with this. If you use filamentalist, then you decrease the height because you dont need the buffer (erct)
Just got a kit to finally make one, (had my eye on v1 forever, glad to see the v2) tho only 9 neopixels, I think I'm going to skip the LEDs on the ERCT, aside from visuals does it serve a purpose to have them tucked away on the cottontail where it wouldn't be seen, i.e should I just order more neopixels? Also, what's the benefit to a bypass? If I'm going single filament, either it's already loaded, load it up, or feed directly right? What an amazing team! Can't wait to build it to finally get some color on my 2.4
@@aaveisen Glad to hear it. I went with the DFH v2 kit. Initially I was really liking the AMS and how they handled mmu's (specifically the cutter in the TH) but now with the ERF I'm confident in the approach. Haven't finished printing parts yet, but I can't wait
The ERCF is cool and I like it but it takes soo much space. I wish there was something diy like ercf but more compact myabw with the bambu A1 style MMU with mechanical spool rewind
what the hell have you done?? I just discover you , it is unbeleveviable it is free, i have to read a lot. One more project to do but it will be in the first row
@@Crydteam ok, for new user is best to make ERCFV2, but for user already have sturdybunny,Blinky encoder, tripledecky, springy i not see any real improvement to upgrade my ercf+mods to ercfv2
@@textech8946 if you take the time to drop in CAD to compare part to part almost every file has been modified in some way shape or form and compare V1 to V2 its completely different in every way. Impressive! Thanks for all your efforts!
Ingenius! Echt geile Arbeit!
Ich gebe den Dank weiter :)
Looks good, but I can used that filament change on other printer company, for example Neptune 4 max ??? Or just on voron?
Its compatible to every printer that use klipper. Only with a voron you can integrate a filament cutter.
Looking awesome. Can't wait to build one
Sehr gut. Viel Spaß

You will add a third pcb with CAN?

The ercf is normaly compatible to every printer. If you printer if no toolheadsensor and a cutter its working not perfect.

2. Der ptfe führt zum Bypass Block
I have a Manta M8P (v2) with 3 open motor slots, 1 open servo slot, and 1 open neopixel slot. Can I run this without a secondary board?
Yes but you need lot of endstops. I dont think your habe enough Pins for that.

Yes you can Bypass the ercf. It's Usefull if you need a fast print with a filament your dont have inside the ercf. It save time
Ercf v1 never working good but v2 is realy nice working tool v2 can be rebuilded from v1 but with 5 tools

Is this compatible with the bambu lab A1?
No because you cant Edit the Firmware.
Cool. But the music 🤦
I like this 😉
I'm in the process of building a trident and I'm sooo building one of these (once the kits are available)
Good luck. We hope that Kits available in march.
I bought parts for the v1 recently, is it possible to switch to v2?
Yes in the bom of v2 is a section where you can see which Parts you need for an Upgrade.
All that and you didn't show the printing to printing speed?
Yes because this was the release trailer not a review or test :-)

How could I start building one? I have a CR-10 SE
I dont understand What you mean.
Komischer Name 🤪😂
Das ist der originale Name: Enraged Rabbit Carrot Feeder (ERCF)
@@Crydteam 😂😆 nicht dein Ernst you made my day.
Das war kein Scherz:)
it is any chance that i can implement this to my ender 5 s1?
If you use klipper you can use the ercfv2 with every printer.
@@Crydteam what about filament cutter?
You have to modify your toolhead or you can use the ercf only with the tip forming option

Einfach BOM abgleichen.
V1 can be transform to v2 but -1 tool

Wow
Please show sample prints:o
We create a video on the next few weeks
Is there a way to print what needed for updating the ERCF v1 to v2?
Yes, the repo has a File (part tracker) where you can config your setup

Looks complex. Can imagine months of tuning and failures
The ercf v2 is easier to build and use
But Yes you need a little bit knowledge to know which issue is caused by which problem.
i not see any bign diffrence vs ercf v1.1with mods, only useless led blinking....
Thats bad, because nearly everythin is improved. FIlament Block, Encoder, Feeder....
@@Crydteam ok, for new user is best to make ERCFV2, but for user already have sturdybunny,Blinky encoder, tripledecky, springy i not see any real improvement to upgrade my ercf+mods to ercfv2
Yes. I think if you have a working ercf 1.1 with this mods then you are fine because never change a running system.
