I stumbled over one of their videos last night..I have never sailed or had any dying intrest to sail but I got immediately hooked on their story and their journey..Really cool couple well done vlog....
OK, I am addicted already after just a few video's. My first comment followed by a question, then by a comment. You guys seem so happy in each other's company. Do you ever fight and if not, is it because you laugh instead... and why are you always laughing and smiling? I need this in my life.
I watched this 2x and I'll probably watch it again tomorrow . Thanks for posting again! Unbelievable footage . Tough lady you are taking the helm through the night. It's a pleasure to watch you both enjoying life ! From a fellow Canadian ! Cheers for now !
I just watched 10 movie trailers. And then I watched this! THIS is so much better. Whoa, people, this is the future of movies, a sort of version like this. Rockin'!
Hello Ben & Ashley....let me begin by saying that you guys are so awesome! I opened my RUclips and some how one of your most recent videos was recomend to watch. It was amazing to watch that video, so I figure I would check out your videos from the beginning and I mean your first video upload. So officially this is my 37th video that I've watch and counting. At the moment when I started to watch your videos I had not subscribed and I had not commented on any of them until now. Right now I've officially subscribed to your channel. All your videos and adventures are mind blowing. They're just jaw dropping to see everything you guys have accomplished in your adventures. It's amazing to see such lovely couple have the times of your lives. I mean I have so much to say but for now I'm just enjoying your adventures. I can't wait to reach to how the kids come into the picture which it's what made me want to watch from the beginning because the one I watched first that RUclips recommended was one with your two beautiful kids. So I'll continue to catch on in your adventures and comment then. Please stay safe all the way. Safe travels. Ok...going back to my next episode. Much love from Toronto.
You guys certainly did have a great sail. 3metre swell... just a ripple off NZ. LOL. Well done guys. Don't you just love seeing Cape Brett as you head for Opua!
I'm sooooooooo happy you guys are back!!! It's nice to see fellow Canadians doing a sailing channel! It's also great to see your videos online not 6 months later like some other channels. I wish you guys the best and much success with gaining a following that can help support your adventures. I have no connection to you guys and only know of you from the youtube suggestions ... but I feel the need to support you!!! I hope others do too!(edit)-I just did it... I'm a Patreon supporter!
Wow! Thanks mate!! That's so cool. We're still relatively new to the Tube game so we hugely appreciate every single Patron!! Yeah, just a handful of Canucks out here. And we're somewhat imposters with our German registered boat. But deep down the Maple Syrup runs through our veins. Sticky, hardy, resilient. Or just yummy. Ummmm.... this analogy is going way too far. Sorry. Again. Thank YOU. We really REALLY appreciate your support. With Love, Ben & Ash.
Welcome back guys, I was wondering what you were up to. Great video as usual and lots of fun to watch with some great sailing too. Many thanks for sharing and best from HKG 🇭🇰
Okay, now that I've watched it... THAT ONE WAS AWESOME! Very well put together. The b-roll stuff was great quality and the proportion felt right. I liked that you included the bits for a few seconds after a camera fell over a couple of times. Very fun to watch, didn't feel like almost 25 minutes. Thank you so much!
Yeah, a long one for sure! Took a while to edit but had fun doing so. And this was pretty old footage. We're back in the game with a couple new cameras so things should get even better. Love filmmaking. Thanks for always watching and commenting P.T. Anderson!
Yall have quickly become one of my favorites to watch! My boyfriend and I are on the countdown before we take off to cruise on our 41 Morgan Out Island and I am having such fun watching yall, learning from yall and laughing with yall! Your relationship reminds me a lot of ours which makes me crack up even more at the things yall say and do! Who knows! Maybe one day we will get to meet up with yall out on the crystal blues! Safe Sailing!
Another awesome video with a safe and fast crossing. Thanks for letting me live vicariuosly by way of your life. It is a trip just watching you guys enjoy your lives together and enjoying the sailing and travelling.
Thanks for the vids...i have a tip for filling plastic diesel cans....Shine a1000 lumen flashlight through the side of your plastic Jerry can to see the rising diesel line on the opposite side. Shows a line even at high noon.
I've never had any interest in sailing or anyhting like what these guys do and I stubled across on of thier videos and I've been watching for 4 hours! I cannot beleive how fun these guys are! Also dunno about that creaking noise? Doesn't sound good! (Love from: New Zealand! Convieneintly where you heading!).
Guys, awesome video, and welcome to New Zealand! I lived in Tonga as a child and now make NZ my home. I'd love to come and take you both out for dinner in Auckland when you get here.
Such a gorgeous area for sailing! Fair winds guys! And all the best from aboard SY Independence... unfortunately currently on the dry in the boatyard for maintenance....
Love the video, Love the music, Love the journey and Love you two! If you ever come to Louisiana in the USA, PLEASE look us up! Would love to meet you two and hang out! Sail on!
Where about from Canada 🇨🇦 are you guys from I’m from Ontario and I was diagnosed two years ago with at 32 with terminal cancer and you guys are living my dream! Life’s to short to not have fun and you guys are living an adventure everyday. Love your videos cheers safe travels guys! What made you guys decide to travel and how long have you been doing it? I’m new to your channel
The camera work was outstanding. The visual use of the camera is so good. You guys are becoming Spielberg(?) like! I really appreciate for the most part everything is G rated as my young daughter LOVES you guys. God bless you guys on this Good Friday. Fair Winds and Calm Seas!!! JC
thank you very much your video was very informative .but mostly you guys are so cool i can tell your good people. i really admire all you have and what your doing. your enthusiasm is refreshing thanks. mikey
Aah that was amazing. You two are unreal. Soooo. What Id love to know is. Excluding the purchase (Catamaran) price how much do we need to annually make provision for to full time live aboard. As in monthly running costs (food, fuel, maintenance, mooring, Insurance’s, etc). We really want to do this but would be super helpful if you can give us some guidance. There are loads of vids about this but I really value your thoughts. Maybe an idea for a future vid!! Paul.
Welcome to New Zealand🥇🇳🇿 Check out Ponsonby cruising club for Rum racing if you’re in Auckland - like Wednesday through to Friday evenings (ring ahead 2 confirm). You’ll get a feel for the next Kiwi’s Cup Regatta - once upon a time this was called the Americas cup ha! Also Great Barrier Island 50 miles east of Auckland is a great cruising option with secluded inlets on the west and decent surf on the east coast.
It’s been one year since your reply And I’ve just found them, I’ve been watching there channel. Awesome couple I just love them , congrats on their lil one , amazing
..... one very enjoyable video .. yup! subscribed .... quite the dash ... that flag of yours with mustard on the tail sure shrank, lucky you got there when you did, would have been all gone ..... have fun getting acclimatized and enjoying shorts in 15 degrees ... have fun be safe ....
Always keep your little finger / pinkie nearest the winch ~ so if your hand gets caught in it, you only lose a small finger ~ Much better than losing an index or a thumb. Fair winds
What part in new new Zealand? I been travelling also new Zealand ti Fiji,Tonga, nokalupa American samua back to new Zealand napier tauranga back to new Zealand aukland. Did you visit to viaduct?
GREAT to see you again! Loved some of the colorful adjectives at the beginning. Get it up...let's go! You're such a Tuuuuurd...Mr Bossy pants. She never listens to the captain. OK...still laughing at that conversation! CONGRATS ON THE SPROUTS!!! WOOHOO! I've been avocational this to sailors for some time but they don't seem t get it. Also, think about getting yourself some Mung beans to sprout. Extremely potent and even get past the blood brain barrier. You could actually live off Mung beans for a very long time. Till next time. PEACE OUT!
Please do a video regarding your budget management. I mean how you afford for it, it gonna be important for another person who planing to do adventures. I enjoy your videos👍👍👍
