I love the A7. I agree that it's a better-looking car than the A6, but I think the A7 is also one of the best-looking cars on the road. The A6 is still an insanely good-looking car. The rear-end of the A7 is so gorgeous and I'm happy to see the A5 carrying a lot of the same muscular styling cues that the A7 has. I'm a B9 Allroad owner. The thing I love about Audi's styling is the one thing a lot of reviewers knock - they're understated. I feel the fact Audi's styling is not so over-the-top is what makes them still look good ten years down the road while other cars that are initially more show-y end up looking dated. I almost forgot, Niello's where I bought mine; they were a pleasure to purchase a car from.
I have an 2012 A6 with APR stg2, 462 hp, 8-speed and it's epic. I also have a 400hp protuned 2013 WRX STI sedan that's an absolute beast on road, track and rally cross and the A6 is still pretty crazy. Now I just need coilovers to lower and stiffen it a bit, black out the grill and trim and a matte dark gray wrap. I really don't see the A6 as boring at all, especially with LED headlights. I started with 30+ cars to end up buying it as my 2nd car and it won my money. I think with the 2018 A7/S7, redesigned, will be much nicer but the 2012-2017 A7 looks a little weird to me from behind to me, like it has too much weight to it or something. Also it's the same size but a 4 seater which put me off compared to the 5 seats in the A6.
I like the A6 better. I was going to buy an A7 but when I drove it the view out of the rear was not good for me. I bought the A6 and I love it. Plus I saved over $10k. I can't agree with their take on A7 being better. The interiors are exactly the same...
Finally, I know I've said it before, but you NEED to get rid of the other guy on your videos. He's distracting, unintelligent, and seriously holds you back.
David T. I agree. If you are gonna be part of hosting a video take 5 minutes and google the numbering system of Audis no one is watching this video to get 5 minutes of a confused person asking about A1 and A2, etc. I am sure he is a nice guy. And maybe it's the formula of this reviewer to have someone who knows nothing, to bounce off of. But it does get annoying.
My dad is looking into a new S6 as a daily driver. We love the S7 more, but we don't feel that it's worth a $10k premium over the S6 just because of that hatchback rear end and a few other styling differences, when it's basically the same car.
People don't get marketing language we get that it's a "TECHNICALLY" a hatchback but it's like dude don't spoil the wet dream. Sportback sounds better, you don't exactly get the best visual when someone says hatchback. Truthfully I think that's disrespectful language for such a beautiful car.
You say you hate the A6 but the interior of the A6 and the A7 is exactly the same. The size is exactly the same inside. Except the A6 has more headroom in the rear. The exterior is not much of a departure from the A6 the front end is the same, the rear is different. The same wheels are available on the A6. I do prefer the luxury hatchback look of the A7 it's very unique. But not so sure about paying $20k more for it. I think the A7 is way overpriced. The trunk on the A6 has a ton of room too. The A6 is a beautiful sedan it's just not the same look as the A7. Why go for an A6 instead of an A7? Maybe because you like the A6 and you don't want to toss another $20k for an A7.
I don't hate hate the A6, I just find it more bland looking than the A7. And yes, the A7 is way overpriced for what it is and yet people are still buying them. Audi is happy.
The A6 is a very nice sedan I don't think it's boring. A7 is the same interior exactly and the engine is an A6 engine. A nicely appointed A7 with tax, etc you are at $80k. May as well toss in a few more grand and get an A8 then.
@@jakeblack5712 Two years too late, but an A8 interior isn't better than an A6/|A7. The A6, A7,A8,and R8 are made in Neckarsulm and the A3, A4, and A5 are made in Ingolstadt. I you have driven cars from both plants, you would feel the difference. The Neckarsulm cars have different levels of padding, sound isolation etc for better reduction of NVH. I was shocked at the obvious difference between an A4 and A6 when I upgraded to an A6. I also have owned the same year of A6 to my friends A4 and there is a noticeable quality difference. The A7 is overpriced for what it is because it is a different car, not a better one. Bravo Audi execs. I like performance, and any A6 similarly equipped to an A7 will walk it in speed and handling. More headroom in the rear of the A6 as well. An A7 looks faster though, so you'd better get at least an S7 if you are a stoplight racer because you will get picked on. I have been emotionally trying to deal with the fish on wheels look ever since the A7 came out, and I am still confused. Either way, I like the interior and because there is nothing on my A6 trunklid other than TFSI, nobody knows there is a 3.0T under the hood until it is way too late. APR stage 2 and then surprise some S6 owners. The upgraded power plant in 2016 allows 13.2 in the quarter.
burh i think it for the guys that want an a8 but dont want to look like the driver of some boss, the a7 its massive with 1950kg compared to the a6s 1550kg
vh9network lol arguing favorite colors now? A very personal choice. I think the brown is the color of shit....lol. Joking aside, anyone lucky enough to be able to afford one of these cars can enjoy it in any color. It's all good.
CarBuzz - Unboxing Everyday Cars and Supercars I enjoy your videos, I'm just giving some constructive criticism. Some may like the spontaneous conversation style. Personally I'm not a fan. Whatever makes you happy is fine
You can expand your opinion to all other people. You dont like the A6 but that doesn't mean that all others will be the same as you. I love the A6 about 10 times better than A7 and A7 is so boring and the style is so weird. So try to do a better job reviewing.
CarBuzz - Unboxing Everyday Cars and Supercars I also gave my honest opinion wether you like it or not. Go ask normal people. No one will approve your video title is bias.
I enjoy bouncing around on RUclips watching reviews. You can get something out of each one. Some do a way better job than others. But it's just a variety of opinions. I find this one to be kind of amateur in the way it comes across but that is also part of what is good about RUclips. Someone is taking the time to create the video, at least we have some variety. I don't mind him having an opinion, it's just his opinion it's not fact. Plenty of other videos that do a way better job of reviewing the A7, but this person has his own style and some will like it, others won't. That's RUclips.

i kinda like the back and forth banter between them

The other guy has no clue what his talking about. Please remove him!
steven berson lol ok!
get rid of the other guy. He is annoying AF

the resale is better for the a7 though
For us, the A6 looks too bland which is a shame because it's such a great car. And yes, we'll see what we can do about the S6.
@@carbuzzcom a6 looks like a box
The reviewer is quiet knowledgable!
Audi A2 Was removed from their line up as the var flopped completely. It was taken out of production a long time ago here in Europe
Good video but I feel like the a6 is such an under rated car its pretty much same as a7
"We're talking about alot of wood here" 🤣🤣🤣
Also, PLEASE do an S6!! Preferably with the "comfort" seats if you can find one!!
Omggggg! Why does this other guy keep interrupting him? He's so annoying! -.-
Doesn’t the a7 start in the 60k range?? I believe a base a6 is around 47k.
You must have learned by now that the rear spoiler is retractable.

Its a lot like Tesla Model S. Or the other way around?
Styling wise? Yeah, they're somewhat similar. Other than that, totally different cars.

Boring black interior.
Chestnut Brown interior is better.

jake have you seen an Audi with Chestnut brown interior, it's much nicer and unique color choice than Black which is common in about any car.
Prefer the looks of the A6 myself.
