I am so jealous! In my dance classes we have a uniform we can't even wear sweats. I wish they just assigned a color so we could get leotards in any style we wanted!

I’ve been thinking I want to start a dance studio when I’m older, and I def will require adults to wear leotards. If you want to wear a sports bra, go to another studio lolz
I totally relate about wanting to buy other people's stuff when you sew your own; I think you start to appreciate what others have put together and offer, and you are aware how long it would take you to create something similar. I started getting more into sewing the last year or two and it's definitely impacted how and why I choose to purchase garments.

@@scarlettehowell189 when I went to the first day of ballet I wore a purple leotard and purple skirt with white leggings and I was felling on top of the world until I went to class and everyone was wearing black leotard black skirt and white leggings and no one told me! So I’m wearing purple everything and since it was my first class I didn’t do things so correctly so I looked like a complete idiot! And the girls there were so judgmental.I also feel bad because I made my pay for nice leotards that I hardly use! It was literally the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me.

I have a few crazy ones I like to wear and my friends and I have a bet on who can find the craziest

For rhe frey/ green leotard by claudia with the mesh that you are scared to wear, you could take away some fabric on the top on the shoulder.to bring up the mesh

omg i have the same navy blue gaynor minden leotard and its my favorite leo ever but my studio changed the dress code to burgundy and they don't have that color :(
my studio doesn't really have a strict dress code or anything, i think it's just that you have to wear your hair in a bun (of course), pink/black tights, and a leotard for ballet classes.

Dear guys!!! I really apologize? but do do need your help. I know nobody can know for sure, but I really need you advice. So the thing is I figured out that I want to do ballet proffesionally, but...I'm already 18, I've had some dance classes which includes contemporary, folk dancing and classical barre with some turns and jumps. During this 2 and a half year I caught up with the others and was called really hardworking. BUT I undarstand that it's not enough to become, well, a ballet-dancer. And dancers of my age usually look for a job already... . I'm kind of enrolled in my local ballet school, but i will be the oldest there, most possible, and still not good as they are... . I really lost, I've finished my first year at the uni, it's one of the best unis in my countly, but....well, I don't like studying there. I dont know what to do!!! Should I just let everything go and go to the ballet school or am I just stupid?(((((((((((((
do u wear a bra with your leotard ? for me i usually dont bc they have low backs but i sew a pocket to put those removable cups and its annoying to do that for all of them. just wondering how other girls deal with this issue

I’m Lucky, my studio my level is navy blue. So we can wear whatever style you want as long as it’s navy blue, really lucky for that
