I loved your video! Poznań is my home town and I’ve always been fond of it’s street food culture. So much variety at great price to quality ratio! Those potato pancakes you had looked so good! I go to that bar quite often, but usually order them with sour cream. That place is an institution! I remember when they first opened it, it was a godsend. You could get a soup there for a dime. Their cottage cheese and whipped cream pancakes were a staple among students:) Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for visiting!
@@Robertino12 No. There was only a language barrier here. But when asked "Can I try this?" the lady made sure "Which sports version"? Here the barrier was activated for the second time (Evan: what do you mean?). But the lady indicated that there are two color versions: yellow and green. In the end they got along. That's it!
Don't forget to visit Plac Wolnosci in Poznan for Christmas market. It's quite very different than now. Placki Ziemniaczane, which you ate in the Bar are mostly eaten with sour cream or sugar (i know it sounds weird but taste super good) For the next time I prefere to order simillar stuff called "Placek po węgiersku" which mean hungarian pancake. It's one big instead of 4 small served with spicy pork diced meat gulash. More Polish traditional food was kotlet schabowy with potatos, which is pork chop served with a beatroot salad.
I went to a market in Pozana. Small one but very very Polish lol. Gotta add some commentary about what I noticed about Polish culture and upload it in a day or two. :)
Where's the video from Rynek Jeżycki? I've seen you there last Saturday? You seemed to love the vibe, I smiled to you, I love visiting markets like this in different countries.
No way! lol. I am editing it later tonight. Trying to make it a little educational, some facts about polish culture. some. The markets are amazing in Poland. Posting it tomorrow. :) Have a great day!
For me in Poznań most unique is sushi buffet 😅all you can eat for 2 hours :D 1:46 you passed by "szybka pyra" they serve most famous regional dish. Pyra z gzikiem. But they have other options too.
Amazing how you managed to buy glasses from the lady speaking only English, and she even managed to give you a bit of advice on which pair to get speaking only Polish. Communication skills that transcend language xD aka just speak loud and clear and he will understand
10:30 you've gone to a milk bar, like in "clockwork orange". It's not purely vegetarian, but centered around diary and veggies, hence the name - but you can get a schnitzel if you want. My favourite? Double french fries with double sunny side up eggs.
2:30 dude, you're in Europe. All those yummy old things are… just about everywhere. People in Europe don't have a Disneyland for Europeans where we buy medieval pastries :D But seriously, there's a struggle to keep the old way of living alive. You've just witnessed it at 2:30.
It's because there was a pride month normally there are not so many gay flags. And polish flags are out when there is independence day in every city in Poland
Refreshing to see that not all Polish cities are closed minded and homophobic. I need to visit Poznań, it looks great! Thanks for the videos you're making and that you're enjoying Poland. - I was born in Kraków, but now live in the UK. Pozdrawiam!

@3:44 There used to be a Starbucks here. But now there isn't. xD And very well, because Americans don't know how to make good coffee. They tried (Starbucks is responsible for the iDontRemember-th wave of coffee...), but they still don't know how to. LOL
Neither a hipster's place nor particularly gay. They have a great ER room though. I'm sure they can patch up ANY part of the body, should it get ruptured or something...
Well, the reason why Poznań is so progressive and open minded is because its a university city. Poznań population sits around 530K people, but when university starts the city gets additional 60K people (Poznań's university students population exceeds 100K).
An "open-minded people club"? The ones who shout about tolerance the most aren't tolerant at all, making some kind of sects. Then they insult Christians on their parades and anyone who has a different opinion on the subject. I'm glad you liked our country though bro. What's great about your channel is that you don't sugarcoat certain information. May the good Lord bless you everywhere you go.
you literally made that up, the reason lgbt people dont like christians is because polish christians are hypocrites preaching about love and spreading nothing but hate also, sects? you mean friend groups? ever heard of one?
