wait.... you say "i've never had to replace feet on soft pads". what the hell. you must not use a mouse for more then a year straight? or you just don't put it many gaming hours? i'm not sure what your reason for saying this is but every single mouse needs replacement feet at some point (usually atleast once a year, even when used on a soft pad). i'm just so surprised that a well known guy in the gaming mouse community like you would say something like that, like you know your shit. but damn, NEVER replacing mouse feet? that's just crazy.
You need to replace feet when using cloth pads? Why? What cloth pad are you using exactly? And what feet/mouse? I've mostly used this MZ1 Wireless for 2000 hours of Apex in the last year and yeah the feet are still perfect. Cloth shouldn't be wearing feet out, unless it's a hybrid and has some hard elements in there.
@@RocketJumpNinja i personally use the fnatic dash cloth pad. I guess your mouse pad must be really soft if your skates are still fine. I have had skates wear to the point that plastic housing will start scraping on the pad. In my experience though stock feet usually are thinner and wear out faster then the replacements you buy from aftermarket brands. So after like 6 months of use i usually switch stock skates to aftermarket ones. And then the after market ones last like a year cause they are thicker. I can guarantee you that most gaming mice enthusiasts change their mouse feet on a regular basis, ptfe feet will always wear down even on the softest pad there will be wear and they will get thinner and thinner over time.
I barely tested the Dash, didn't seem like a good material to me. I'm still using the Xtrfy GPZ1 ... they sent me a heap of materials and I chose the one I aimed best on, so the GPZ1 is Gaming Pad Zy 1, my official one, which is a really soft fabric. It's a control fabric too, I know people are going speed these days but with mice so light, I would actually prefer the control in the pad. Just letting you know that as a warning in case you do buy one some day ... be ready for control, most likely much more than the Dash. But yeah on this one, no issue! Then again, before this I was using that Cooler Master pad, MP510 I think? and before that, Cooler Master Swift, Razer Goliathus, Razer Mantis ... memory getting hazy, but point is, I've rarely used hard pads or anything that could wear out feet, even the Zowie hybrid pad made me nervous so I only used it for a week, so I've never had to replace feet, because I've been so aware of what the materials could be doing to the feet.

No matter how good the shape is, the lack of a top button is a dealbreaker for me. And unfortunately there seems to be a trend of lightweight mice without top buttons (MZ1 excluded).
@@p0kel I didn't use that button to begin with, and it took a conscious effort of binding keys to it. But nowadays I always have something bound to it.
