  • In this video you will see David Austin roses blooming this Spring of 2023 on their first fresh flushes. Some old, most new varieties for me. We have had unusual dry spells this spring season, and hotter climate tend to shrink the size of their blooms. I hope you enjoy this video.
    I specially love English romantic roses, English style of gardening, meaning balance clean structural gardening designs,
    and of course houseplants! Drop me questions and I will share you my personal journey tips on growing them. Enjoy watching and don’t forget to subscribe. Have a great day folks!

      Thank you! I plan of repotting or changing soil every 2-3 years. This spring, I will have to do that with abraham Darby and Bolero rose.

    I have moonlight in Paris for about 3 years now and she grows big in my garden zone 6b. She is not very desease resistant so I need to keep treating/spraying her. I will continue to do that because her blooms are beautiful

      Really!! Is yours own root? I’m sure mine is grafted. I checked online most growth potential descriptions says 4x3. And planted beside crocus and Alexandra of Kent, moonlight looks so awkward in the row. How big is yours? Thank you for letting me know! I love its blooms but I wish she is bigger. Mine is just 2 yr old though. You think next year maybe she will behave better? Grow taller?

      @Issha.-- Green Thumbing 🧚
      I'm not sure. I bought mine at Home Depot. I planted against a 4' picket fence. Last year, she grew 5' tall. I cut her down early spring, and now she is 4'x3' to me she is a fast grower, and she is starting to bloom, full of buds.

    All of your roses look so gorgeous beside being so healthy with deep lusty green. Can I ask what fertilizer you use for your garden roses?

      I agree with you. A few DA roses are discontinued each season to be replaced with new/healthier ones. I'm glad I could obtain "The Ingenious Mr Fairchild" last fall. The blooms look like Peonies. Beautiful w/ a nice scent. I also love the newer roses--Eustacia Vye, Silas Marner, Emily Bronte, and Gabriel Oak. They have nice fragrance, more blooms, with hardier stems. Can't have enough DA roses!!! :) Good luck w/ your rose garden!
