- In this video you will see David Austin roses blooming this Spring of 2023 on their first fresh flushes. Some old, most new varieties for me. We have had unusual dry spells this spring season, and hotter climate tend to shrink the size of their blooms. I hope you enjoy this video.
I specially love English romantic roses, English style of gardening, meaning balance clean structural gardening designs,
and of course houseplants! Drop me questions and I will share you my personal journey tips on growing them. Enjoy watching and don’t forget to subscribe. Have a great day folks!

Love the video in all the descriptions of the Roses ,can't wait to see some of them as a second year.
It’s freezing cold right now my side, hopefully they all survive, Thank you so much! I’m looking forward to 2024 growing season.!
Bonjour, combien de temps peut-on laisser les roses en pot?
Vous avez les plus belles David Austin du net! Merci de les partager avec nous !❤
Thank you! I plan of repotting or changing soil every 2-3 years. This spring, I will have to do that with abraham Darby and Bolero rose.
Your roses are so beautiful😍
Oh my, thank you so much! Welcome!
So beautiful !
Thank you! And thank you for taking time to comment.
Hermosas rosas
Thank you senyor!
omg i am excited i have 1 yr old crocus rose i hope next yr i can see more growth
Last year this one was also throwing canes like this time but not like this! Holy cow, she competes with Princess Alexandra big girl
Me too I hand that and Charles Darwin but in my souther California garden it grows so slow
I have moonlight in Paris for about 3 years now and she grows big in my garden zone 6b. She is not very desease resistant so I need to keep treating/spraying her. I will continue to do that because her blooms are beautiful
Really!! Is yours own root? I’m sure mine is grafted. I checked online most growth potential descriptions says 4x3. And planted beside crocus and Alexandra of Kent, moonlight looks so awkward in the row. How big is yours? Thank you for letting me know! I love its blooms but I wish she is bigger. Mine is just 2 yr old though. You think next year maybe she will behave better? Grow taller?
@Issha.-- Green Thumbing 🧚
I'm not sure. I bought mine at Home Depot. I planted against a 4' picket fence. Last year, she grew 5' tall. I cut her down early spring, and now she is 4'x3' to me she is a fast grower, and she is starting to bloom, full of buds.
@@nietzschebrisita146 Dang! She doesn’t like my gloomy, humid rainy climate. I will baby this rose I think in a pot.
All of your roses look so gorgeous beside being so healthy with deep lusty green. Can I ask what fertilizer you use for your garden roses?
Pls watch my garden maintenance video. I talked about the kind of fish fertilizer that I use, Thank you!
Really appreciate your giving the pros & cons of the roses, not just a tour. Thank you!
Beautiful roses! How do you take care of them? What fertilizer do you give?
Thank you Ella! I use organic compost to begin with, I mulch in the winter, I wateras spring comes to wake them up, prune in early spring fertilize with Alaska fish fertilizer, banana peel, miracle grow rose tone then organic bloom enhancer from Dr earth I think. . I will make a video one of these days.
Lovely blooms. What do you feed them and how often?
I give rose tone, miracle grow, fish fertilizer, Al in one systemic, banana peel. I really should come up with a video about this soon. Thank you for watching,
Your garden is beautiful!! I'm sad some of these are so hard to find or arent available anymore.
Thank you so much?! I know, What’s your location?
I don’t understand why they would retire Evelyn,, it is so beautiful!,
@@IsshaGreenThumbing I'm in the US, in NJ😊 I'm new to roses and can only pray my garden will be as beautiful as yours one day!!
Awww! I’m sure it’s gonna be beautiful, it’s different because it’s personalized by you! Have a great gardening day!
I agree with you. A few DA roses are discontinued each season to be replaced with new/healthier ones. I'm glad I could obtain "The Ingenious Mr Fairchild" last fall. The blooms look like Peonies. Beautiful w/ a nice scent. I also love the newer roses--Eustacia Vye, Silas Marner, Emily Bronte, and Gabriel Oak. They have nice fragrance, more blooms, with hardier stems. Can't have enough DA roses!!! :) Good luck w/ your rose garden!
