  • Here are the cream of the cream TOP 8 BEST performing beautiful roses in my garden that perform best for me this 2023. 99% of them are David Austin varieties. I listed them from 1-8 with 8 ranking the lowest and 1 the highest,
And while a rose is expected to perform best in its 3rd year, surprisingly some younger in years have thrived and beaten the older ones performance and health wise.

I am a Dental Assistant, a cat momma, and love gardening. I am close to Canada border and my climate experience would attest that my zone is dependent to what’s going on in Canada 😂, so My zone is more of 7b a lot of times than 8A. I specially love English romantic roses, English style of gardening, meaning balance clean structural gardening designs,
and of course houseplants! Drop me questions and I will share you my personal journey tips on growing them. Enjoy watching!

@@IsshaGreenThumbing ur climate is dry so ur roses don't get black spod right

    • @IsshaGreenThumbing

Wrong! Pacific Northwest Washington state also known as evergreen state because of highest number of rain days, thus high humidity, Although my spring is unusually dry this time, the whole fall last year to whole winter time is just crappy rainy. The gloomy weather , gets old you know. I control black spot by cleaning the rose bush base in the fall, so the fungus won’t over winterized and become systemic problem. I would also snip off foliage that gets BS like right away so it wouldn’t spread.
