I’m rewatching all of your videos and just felt called to commend you Lora for your hard work and dedication, it’s truly inspiring. You are absolutely right about cultural appreciation. I try to always know my place as a non-Irish person and make it a point to listen to native voices. It’s very integral to the practice and anyone that tries to pick and choose what parts of the culture is who I stay away from. Just signed up for the academy group ❤ She’s been pushing me recently to take “next steps” (still not super sure what that means) in the work she requires me to do. I also just requested her help for a spell & I kinda feel like she’ll help in exchange for deep diving into the academy 😂
I relate with four of the Irish deities and recently dedicated to Manannan Mac Lir and I wanted to watch this for insight about how it might relate to him and dedicating to him. I felt this video was very relevant. I get the sense that a lot of what was shared here can relate with almost any Irish deity. They are all concerned with sovereignty and of the people and land of Ireland, they all would seem to have us go through transformation, they seem to also encourage personal growth and insight, most of all they seem to encourage us to "do the work". Great video, Thank you!!!
