    Great review! I am looking to upgrade this year from my 12 year old Alpine to the V3x . Looks like a very nice bow.

    Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine ruclips.net/user/postUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

    I just shot a few different bows last week not being brand loyal and wow mathews v3x was my fit. Amazing bow I got the 33 for hunting and 3D. Love shooting all the brands mathews won for me

    I saw your video on tuning. I am looking for a new bow, the Elits interest me with their set thing, are mathews a nightmare to tune? I really do not want to have to go to the shop for any issues with tuning or mods or anything.

    What happened to your top left limb? Looks pretty thrashed for a new bow lol.

    I'm more less ah beginner to bow hunting. I like the idea of ah shorter bow for tree stand hunting. But my draw is 29 inches and I thought I heard before that those short axle to axle bows aren't ah great option for guys with longer draw lengths. Is there any truth to that?

    • @EastmansHuntingJournals
      @EastmansHuntingJournals  2 года назад

      Theoretically yes but with these modern bows with oversized cams, it's hard to tell the difference. Do what fits you best and you'll be just fine. -Dan

      Yes, there is some truth to this. I have a 30.5” draw length & found shorter A to A bows brought my peep sight position far too close to the factory fitted string dampeners/cams. I own the longer V3X 33 however & have had no such issues.

    You mentioned the v3 27 is faster. What is your speed difference between the v3 27 and v3x 29 with the same weight arrow?
