Hello Mundy, thank you for the information. I am 62 yrs old. I am a sculptor and I make wearable sculpture/Jewelry. I used to show in galleries and fairs but now I only sell privately. I want to live in France part time and eventually full time. Staying 4-6 months per year to start. I would like to be able to create and sell work while I am there. What kind of Visa do I need and how to apply for it?
Great content, Mundy. I am your new subscriber now :) May I know if this is a good pathway for eventual citizenship since this is just for a maximum of 4 years and citizenship requirements need you to be at least 5 years? Btw, I am a writer and a self-published author and have clients. Do you have content for a writer? Also, I am not in my home country now. Can I apply from another country where I am currently living and just apply at the French consulate of the country I am in? And is France open now for new applications for the Talent passport visa now and they issue visas now regardless of any nationality the applicant is from? Are French borders open now for this kind of visa holders? Thank you and more power to your business! :)
Hello Febrina thank you for your comments. France is open for Visas but the process is slow COVID times. When it comes to applying for Visa the rules can be different for different locations but I would start at the consulate they should be able to inform you if it is possible where you are.
Can we speak privately without a viewing audience? My husband is a musicien, we're not working with a company nor have a business. Do you have a FB or IG Acct ? Thanks lots
I have a question! I've been looking into the passeport talent and it is something I am interested in applying for in the future, as I am building my career as an artist and a writer. The passeport talent can be renewed for up to four years, right? Well, if I wanted to stay longer in France (and hopefully gain citizenship through naturalization), would I re-apply for the passeport talent while in France, or would I use a different method? Would I have to return back to the US before re-applying? I am getting very mixed answers to this so it might be helpful to hear your advice. Thank you in advance!
Hello Normally you can re-apply in France, but you may get mix answers because the law around visas have slight changes all the time. In the description of my video there links to government site it best to look there for the most current information when it is time to reapply.
Hi Mundey, could you please tell me if with passport talent visa, would there be freedom to enter other countries in Europe or do we have to take visa for each country we visit in Europe if you are on passport talent visa. TIA

Thanks for this info. What happens if your company is registered in another country or if you're self-employed paying taxes in your own country? Does that mean I have to pay double taxes, tax payments in France, and other tax payments in my country? Thanks
Hello, As far as I know you should not be double taxed, but when you register your business in France you will be paying French taxes. Depending on the rules of your home country you may need to declare your income but normally you should not be double taxed.
Thank for this information. I would like to ask you about my situation plz; i am a foreign researcher and i have some work to do in france. So I got passport talent researcher for the period of my research activities (which is 4 months). I would like to extend my stay for few months to look for a job in france. Am I able to do it? And how can I do it. And thank very much
Hello, its very useful information. I really appreciate your efforts. I would like to ask if you have JOb contract and what are the chances to get France Talent Passport visa? Is it almost confirm if we have valid JOB contract for PhD level

Thank you so much for the mentioned information in the video. I have a question and I would be appreciated if you can help me with the information. I have applied for the researcher talent-passport visa (the one with a 3-month validity) but the university asks me to go to Croatia before entering France. Do you know that this type of visa allows me to enter Croatia?
Your very welcome:) but as I mentioned I am not an expert in Visas but from what I know Normally your visa is only good for France, you maybe able to stop in Croatia in transit but if you need to work there I am pretty sure you will need to get permission from the Croatian government. I would call the consulate and ask. Hope this helps.
I have a question,I know you can get a Talent Visa shorter than 4 years, but if you get a role for a year and then a second role after the first for another year, do you have to reapply for the Visa talent again? and will you have to pay again for this renewal? Thanks for the advice😊
Hello Kholeka to answer your question it depends what category you are applying for each category has it own rules. What category are you thinking of applying for?
@@MundeyYoungCoaching I completed my Masters in france so I will be applying for the qualified employee talent Visa. The one with the requirement of a French masters and salary of 37k plus.Thank you for the help
Normally you don't have to reapply if it is the same job. If you change. Jobs you have reapply after one year. But if you stay in one job 2 years after that you don't have reapply.

Hi, I just have one question regarding the transition from an internship contract to a CDI contract.I will be getting a CDI contract from a company immediately after the internship. Please note that I am a Non-European student currently studying in France.I will complete my master course by May 2022. Can you please tell me what will be the time gap between those two.Example,Internship completed at the end of June 2022 and when I will be able to re-start the work in a new position? In June 2022 itself or it can be delayed?Of Course,it depends on the administration works by the company and the French prefecture, but as I don't have any clarity, can you please guide me with the approx. waiting time?Because my Manager doesn’t wants to have a ‘’Idle’’ situation in the department due to the status change. What should be the actions which company and I have to take it in advance?
Unfortunately there is no approximate waiting time. France does not give time frames you do your request and you just have to wait. There is also no way to verify the status of your Visa once you apply. I am not a Visa expert I just give people general information. You should consult a company that spécialisés in Visas to a answer your detailed questions. As you are doing a master degree in France it will be easier to get full working visa. You should watch my video employee qualifiee. I hope this helps.
Thank you very much for your interesting video. I applied for passport talent and got it. I'll be in France soon. I'm going to work at some university as a researcher and my contract is a year. Can I extend my residence card after my contract is over?
