Hello, thank you so much for this informative video! I am wondering for the criminal record check is this something I must obtain myself or will the embassy conduct the check when I submit my visa application?
How about greece is it the same or is it short course/ study If it’s an artist residency and little workshop
I am not sure I don't know very much about Greece's Visa
@@MundeyYoungCoachingit’s either cultural or study/short course do you know which one
If our passeport talent application is successful, how long does it take to settle in France? For example, is there a rule such as settling within 3 months or 1 year after approval is given?
I don't know actually great question. Will have to research that

The French government is absolute disorganization! We came to France on "temporary protection" status for Ukrainian Citizens. I have been in France on this status for almost a year, applied back in October of last year for a Talent visa that is still processing for almost eight months now! Two months ago, France asked for proof that I am earning income on this visa type that I applied for, to show that I am satisfying visa income requirement for a visa that I do not even have yet!! Crazy. My wife and I are going to move to Spain in another month if France doesn't give us our visa, because Spain will give us a digital nomad visa. Goodbye France,)
Well no system is perfect at least you had time to make the best choice for you

Thank you for this insightful video! I just have one question. You talked about providing contracts to qualify the passport talent as a freelancer. Does that mean these contracts should be given by French companies, agencies or groups, indicating that you will have confirmed projects working with French people? Or does that mean the contracts could come from any country in the world, as long as it can prove that I am actually an artist? Thanks again and please keep making good videos like this!
It can be a combination but you should have some french engagement or they see it as you are not benefiting the country. Most important things financial stability and how it benefits France

Yes it is
Hi, please can you clarify in this visa covers an artist (sculpter) or is it just for artistic performers? Amd would this cover if you have an offer from a job i.e Disney Paris
Yes this covers all forms of artist even actors
Hi many thanks for your response, my daughter is from UK and had an interview for a sculpting job at Disneyland Paris and they were unsure too!
Any question about the new program or the French Visa Business Plan Guide, or Create a Vision for your French Visa
would you be able to go in on this visa if you want to register as a company vs a freelancer?
Yes the Passport Talent as category for both
Hi Munday! Thanks so much. Question: Can Americans apply? Do you need to learn French or no? Are there any requirements about working with French people or can we keep all clients in America? Are there any requirements in terms of what the business plan has to look like or have in it!? I have requested a 15 minute consult with you!
Hello , yes American can apply, you not need to know French in the beginning but will be required later depending how long you are looking to stay in France. You can continue to work with clients anywhere. It more about where you will be paying taxes. At the end of the month I will be releasing a course and guide on how to do the french visa business plan. I will send you a link to it when it is released. Also for your appointment I didn't see your booking maybe try again. I hope this helps
she said that if you can show the contract already issued to you then it can suffice for proof of funds for those providing services...is that corect?

Yes this would be the right visa
Hello thank you for this information. It's really helpful. Sorry for the long message that I'm about to type :). - I wanted to ask you, if I'm an artist and I've been working in tv here in France, but I currently have two freelancing contracts one for 2000 usd and the other one for 500 usd with USA and Colombia, but I currently have no contracts in France, could I still be elegible for this visa? I'm looking for another contract in France but I'm still in that process. I have 3 months and a half before my current Titre expires, and I would need to renew soon. I have a student visa and have been in France studying French and working as an intermittent du spectacle in tv for 4 years now. Only now I'm changing my status, because the contracts my employers gave me before were all freelance, and I wasn't able to apply for another visa.. I don't want to apply for the profession libérale visa, because if I get a CDI or CDD I think I would have trouble securing the job because I would need to change status before signing the contract.. and the recherche d'emploi one is only for students that have acquired a masters degree in France ? Is this true. I only have language diplomas. Please if you could help me with some advice, that would be great. Bonne soirée and thank you for your time : ).
I am not a visa specialisé but here is what I do know: For studies to work in France it has to be a Master Degree or equivalent, You could get a visa if you are offered a contract and it job were there is lack of your service in France , or you can become a auto-entrepreneur to secure your visa, but you will have to prove you have enough demand to support yourself. Hope this helps. You are always welcome to book a free consultation with me. Just go to my website:www.mundeyyoung.com
Thank you for replying to my comment. Yes, I actually ended up getting an Auto-Entrepreneur Cds and it was just approved :).

What is the minimum funds requires for this visa?
This varies depending on the type of category you apply for
So lets say I got awards or classed among good film makers (animators) awarded in fibda event. Also had articles about me in internet and also worked at some companies online for commissions and popular on medias like Twitter and Instagram. At least 50k followers. This gives a chance or not?
I am not a specialist but normally the important part is revenue. Showing you can financially support yourself

Hello Mundy, thank you for the information. I am 62 yrs old. I am a sculptor and I make wearable sculpture/Jewelry. I used to show in galleries and fairs but now I only sell privately. I want to live in France part time and eventually full time. Staying 4-6 months per year to start. I would like to be able to create and sell work while I am there. What kind of Visa do I need and how to apply for it?
Hello you might want to look into Passport Talent Artistique et Curtuelle..There is video on my site about that
Thank you ladies so much! This is the most helpful video on the internet. I truly appreciate yall. Im also a artist and do freelance from time to time. And want to move to France. Yet my wfh job makes me the most money. So Ive lagged on freelance. Yet Im going to increase my income. Thankis again.
Would I need to show proof of funds totaling a year? Or enough funds showing last 3 months of income? Thanks
The longer duration of proof of funds you can show the better
Do you know if I can enter France as a tourist and if I get an employment contract during my stay, can I apply for my talented visa without leaving France? I am a dancer and a dance teacher.
Yes you can apply in France but different rules apply to different countries..Ask at the préfecture
Hi Mundy. Thank you for this video. I am an Australian musician and music teacher. I currently teach children in school how to play musical instruments. If I use this type of Visa in France, and have a permanent Australian retirement income of more than €1500 per month, can I be a freelance musician? If I intend to be a street performer, how do prove my financial earnings in France? Can I also earn outside of France (eg Austria & Germany)? Kind regards, Stuart
Hello, you can look into retirement visa as well. As street performer it will be hard to prove income because it is unreliable. I recommend checking out these books to get better detail idea: amzn.eu/d/9UDCbuO , amzn.eu/d/0QOvE7n . I am not visa specialist these videos are more just to give people a general idea of what is available. I hope this helps.
Bonjour Mundey, do you know if UK nationals are allowed to stay and work as an artist for up to three months with no visa requirements? Many thanks!

Is the medical insurance to that cover the 3 months initial visa or one year? how much money in bank you need to show?
Hello they do not specify how much money you will need. If need more detail information I recommend this book : amzn.eu/d/9apZJz9 . I am not a visa specialist I only provide these video to give people general knowledge what available.
Thank you so much Mundey. I understand becoming an auto-entrepreneur in order to freelance as a foreign student having completed my studies will require a a business plan and other documents. Hello, how are you? I found your video on RUclips talking about the talent passport visa.💖 Sorry to bother you, I wanted to ask you a little question. 🙏🏼A Studio in Paris are going to make me a work contract with this visa, I am a photographer, I would like to know if in addition to having the work contract I must justify the artist that I am or is the contract enough? It’s just that I’m not sure if justifying my art with a book is for those who go freelance or it’s also necessary with work contract? I really hope you can help me. 🙏🏼blessings and thanks for your time.🌻✨
Sorry just seeing this comment. Did you get this worked out in the end?
Hello. Thank you for the video. Very helpful. I heard about the talent visa, and I think I am qualified as a writer based on the income requirements. (I am a fiction novelist) My question is if it would be would be better to first come to France on a long stay visitor visa and then apply for the talent visa after one year, because I intend to apply for citizenship after five years, but the maximum duration for the talent visa is only four years (not sure, please help verify if this information is correct), so what would be your best advice on my intentions? My second question is if I will strongly need proof of my business affiliation to France in any way, because my all my income are from my books, but I don't have any French clients, neither do I intend to start any business prospects in France. I simply want to live as an independent freelancer until I qualify for citizenship. Please let me know what to include in my application and how I can show that my work will be beneficial to France. Thank you.

Sorry just seeing this comment here is my contact: @mundeyyoungcoaching or www.mundeyyoung.com
Whats the point of this, if you can just apply for citizenship by that point? What's the perks of Passeport Talent over citizenship?
Because you can't get citizenship if you are unemployment or don't have work contract. When you are student you can work but when that visa ends so does your right to work.
@@MundeyYoungCoaching Self-employment doesn't count? I thought It said you just need a sufficent amount of income and clear registered residence. That information is wrong?

So: Can you become a freelancer and be self-employed on a LONG-STAY visa? If I am a student on my bachelor's degree: can I run a small business as an expat?

How to apply with carte sejour
I am not sure I understand your question?
Hi, thank you for the information. How do I prove my financial viability if I am planning to do freelance work from home on this visa?
Hello, You do this With business plan that shows what you currently earn and potential earning and providing proof of how you can earn this potential earnings
I have a question! I've been looking into the passeport talent and it is something I am interested in applying for in the future, as I am building my career as an artist and a writer. The passeport talent can be renewed for up to four years, right? Well, if I wanted to stay longer in France (and hopefully gain citizenship through naturalization), would I re-apply for the passeport talent while in France, or would I use a different method? Would I have to return back to the US before re-applying? I am getting very mixed answers to this so it might be helpful to hear your advice. Thank you in advance!
Hello Normally you can re-apply in France, but you may get mix answers because the law around visas have slight changes all the time. In the description of my video there links to government site it best to look there for the most current information when it is time to reapply.
Hello, I have a question about this visa. I am a video/animation designer. Is this considered an artist, or would it fit this category? I have a couple business managers in France that have expressed interest and want me to do freelance work for them. Would anything else be required?
Hello yes this would be considered artistic. The people interested in you doing work do you need to be in France to do it?
Yes, I would need to be in France to do it. I have another question…when you said 21% of required income needs to come from income in France and 49% can come from personal savings, is that what is required for renewal of this visa?
@@MundeyYoungCoaching Sorry for my late reply., and thank you for your responding quick..yes, for some of the clients in France I would need to shoot video that is on location at their business and also shooting video their products. Also, it would be more beneficial to be able to meet with them face to face to discuss projects instead of over Skype or Zoom or something like that. Another question that wasn't clear in this video...when you said 49% *(of 70% of French minimum wage) can be from personal finances, and 21% has to be from work done in France, is that to be able to renew after a year? Because, someone obviously would not be able to show 21% income from French clients before living in France right?
Great video! I have one question: how likely is it to get paid a double SMIC-salary if you are from outside the EU and hold a master degree from a French university?
It depends what flied of work your in
This is great! Thanks so much!
Your welcome glad you found information helpful
Oh god, so much of this information is incorrect! You seem like you're doing a job, but you're really misleading people...
The information from my videos are researched from French Government information.
@@MundeyYoungCoaching Unfortunately you've clearly either misunderstood or been presented incorrect information. I know this information inside out and what you're saying doesn't make any sense. Passeport Talent is the French visa of the European Carte Bleu category. You don't get a Blue Card by staying in a European state for 18 months before you apply for a Passeport Talent. You apply for a Carte Bleu - Passeport Talent from overseas (your usual place of residence), and once approved, apply for a Titre de Sejour (which is the multi-year residence permit). You don't have to have stayed in an EU member state at all, or even set foot in EU prior. And it's not 3 years of higher edulcation AND 5 years of professional experience. It's either a relevant degree resulting form min. 3 years of higher education (MUST have a resulting degree i.e. cadre 6 or 7); or IF you don't have that, then at least 5 years of relevant work experience (either of the two, not both). You don't have to have a fixed term contract (CDD) like you're saying. It can also be of an indefinite contract (CDI) which is actually preferred. Your visa is NOT revoked if you change employment - prefectures don't generally actively go around cancelling visas. You'll simply not be eligible to extend the visa and will have issues with future Passeport Talents. But if you get fired/your company closes down, you can get another qualifying job and let your prefecture know. Literally almost everything you've said is incorrect unfortunately, and this would make life very difficult for the over 2,000 people who've seen your video.
@@MundeyYoungCoaching Please, please don't comunicate information that could be detrimental to the future of thousands if you don't 100% know what you're talking about. Just direct them to those who do. If people understand this process wrong due to your own misunderstanding, it may ruin their chances of a future life in France.
@@spadaacca you should make video to give people the correct information. You can share information without the insults or agression. I am happy to look into what you are saying and make corrections. I state clearly in my videos I am an expert. These videos are just general information so people know what kind of visas are out there. But also provide links in description where people can research for themselves. You should produce content if you feel you have something to share that can help people
Sorry that I am not an expert
