Indonesia is the largest island country in the world, with thousands of islands. One of the largest islands in the country is Sumatra. In this video series we travel around West Sumatra, the land of Minangkabau and Mentawai people, with volcanoes, rainforests, wild beaches, lakes, and valleys.
Harau Valley is located in the Minangkabau Highlands, not far from Bukittinggi. It is a small but spectacular canyon, known as the "Yosemite of Indonesia". The canyon is notorious for its miltiple waterfalls that jump on the vertical cliffs that surrounds its bottom. It is one of the most beautiful national parks on the island of Sumatra.
