I just want to say thank you! I'm a senior pursuing a BA in economics who has failed multiple classes. After internships and jobs in restaurants, hotels, and car dealerships I realized I wanted to go in a different direction. I took time off school and met a friend at my gym who is currently in med school. I realized I had a passion for health and wanted a career in health sciences as a PA or doctor. My GPA is hard to look at and it crushed me for a long time, but I never gave up on college. I'm now hoping to pursue a career in health sciences after I complete my undergraduate degree. Thanks again for the hope and inspiration!
This really solidified my journey. Im a 46 career changer making sure I complete what I need and satisfy the requirements. There are so many programs out there, that I didn't know which one was right for me. Thank you for having all these videos.
I’m pretty sure that’s “bless her health” on RUclips and she has a video telling her story. She is also blessherhealth on Instagram and an OMS2 I think!
would taking a career changing post bac be preferred over community college classes? for many reasons, my local accredited community college seems more beneficial because it is cheaper, close to home which allows me to work on my extracurricular activities, and overall I think i’d like the smaller class size student to professor ratio. however, i hear that community classes are frowned upon so a post bacc would be the way to go do show medical schools i can handle a rigorous workload. what are your thoughts Dr gray? ps. thank you for doing what you do. you’re amazing best, Nema
@@lilrabbitcuz How? It’s a valid question that someone with experience from med school admissions could answer. “Googling” if they are bad or not leads me to sources that are not credible. Any who, you absolutely did nothing to help, but waste characters. Like I said before, it’s a yes or no question. If you know, that’s cool. If you don’t (I’m leaning towards this option for you), then scroll along. This question isn’t for you. Thank you! 😊
@@elanawills2364 passive aggressive. I’m trying to help you help yourself. You answered your own question dear. Everyone will say something different. All you can do is try and see if it helps you in your personal situation

Good luck with the change! YOU GOT THIS! #SimTribe
One major takeaway: non-science courses are treated quite differently than your science (BCPM) credits!
Your videos are very inspirational. Thank you for making them.
Dr. Gray, Do you think you could get your friend on to talk about her experience with overcoming 16 Fs?

@@elanawills2364 but it’s one of those questions that you can look up yourself. Shows laziness
