I cannot get over Courtney flexing her vocal range in the final chorus, absolutely incredible
For me, that cemented it as my favorite Spiritbox song. Lol you Nailed it

It's not just the Searle inspired riffery, it's also the Sam Carter style going from voice to scream and voice to scream again!
@@Duskeroth I always forget that Sam Carter invented both singing and screaming

Slow heavy breakdown into soft ethereal ambience to upbeat catchy chorus = chills everytime.
They are just playing with our emotions!
I truly believe we've only scratched the surface of what Spiritbox are capable of.

Funnily enough, architects was an inspiration for this kind of rhythm riffage in modern metalcore, especially when Tom was around. Architects paved the way and spiritbox and many other bands will keep it going
There is only so much you can do to diversify structure. But yes some of their stuff has the typical arrangement but we can say this about how many artists both within and outside this genre/sub-genre? Variety is the answer so that the arrangements don’t get boring.
Nothing wrong with the traditional structure of rock/metal. And music writing in general. But what matters is how much of it we consume.
You don’t eat the same meal everyday for a similar reason.
But great to have you back. You’re the best.
I will say this song has grown on me. At first I didn’t like it but the guitar riffs and ambience has really got me to like it the more I listen to it. I

Everything about this song is great the screams the clean vocals the instrumental sound is amazing the riffs were sick and the visuals draw you in as well ❤ I love it

Such a banger song, I actually think this is one of their catchiest choruses. Great mix between their heaviness and melodic sound
one thing ive really appreciated about spiritbox compared to other bands is they really put the time into production. i love the synths used in the intro so much, and all the different guitar tones are so evocative.

Another great drop from them, they always find a way to keep it interesting. I love the shift in the instrumentals and vocal for that "outro." Courtney shines bright, but the production allows for the other members to shine as well.
I hate the idea that "generic" is bad. Even if you want to call them that, and some songs the argument could be made, they're still songs that are well written and performed.
My sound guy calls this Thirst Trap Core LOL!!! Love this song

@@wallysnakes2690it's actually pretty normal, Flo the singer of Landmvrks is making the mix for Paleface and he's knowing personnaly the musicians from Ten56 (they made their first concert in first part of Landmvrks) and Resolve so yeah

This is Spiritbox I knew from their first ep. Good riffage, nice ambiance, headbanging grooves. Eternal Blue didn't do much for me, but this. My love grow again to you, Spiritbox.
