People still wondering why the hype around them, but it's pretty obvious, they are a breath of fresh air in this heavy music industry, it feels like more metalcore bands are willimg to introduce pop elements due to SB big success. I'm so looking forward to the whole EP in Nov
Mike's guitar, let me tell ya: I don't know if it was specifically this one, but live (couple months back in the Netherlands) it had a glow in the dark/neon-like edge to the body. Every couple songs a roadie would 'charge' it with a flashlight or something. I've never seen anything like that before in 20 years of seeing countless bands live
Phenomenal song. Can’t see what comes of The Void and Jaded. I love their inclination to associate a color with their albums and EP. Eternal Blue (Blue) + Rotoscope (Red) = _____ (Violet)?
I cant wait to see them next week! I think they made a good choice touring with shinedown and papa roach. They're going to expose their type of music to those crowds and expand their fan base so much 😁
That main riff from Mike is so stupidly good. This is single that's a "Hey we might be experimenting a little but don't worry we're still the Spiritbox that goes angelic and slams at the same time."
He adds texture to The Void, it’s a bit hard to hear but throw on some good headphones and you’ll hear him in the studio version too. I’m assuming that’s how it’s going to stay tbh. He has a fantastic voice and I’ve always enjoyed it but Spiritbox will likely always be Courtney front and center.
@@jacksonjohnson2116people asking for Josh to have prominent singing parts on Spiritbox songs feels the same to me as people wanting Will Ramos to sing on Lorna Shore songs. Why? Yes they’re both good singers but these bands have defined sounds. Josh singing in Spiritbox and Will singing in Lorna would be a massive departure from that sound and just wouldn’t feel right in my opinion
She has such an amazing screaming tone. Love her singing voice too.
New bassist is Josh Gilbert of As I Lay Dying, He quit that band and joined when Bill left. He also does additional vocals live.
LEGEND. I got WAY too hyped when I saw him here.

The upcoming EP is called 'The Fear of Fear' if you didn't hear!

I like to keep being surprised by them but it always feels familiar & comfy
The screams in this one takes me back to Belcarra! Love it!

Courtney could've been an Excellent EDM Musique Signer 🤘🤘🤘
She’s actually featured in a edm track with illenium called shivering check it out
I wish they would let Josh do some vocals, ik he does some of the backing vocals live. His voice was one of my fav. parts of As I Lay Dying.
