Sometimes all a person needs is clarification from a loved one that the mistakes they've made do not outweigh the good they've done. We all have the ability to change lives, even with a few words. Hi Hungrybox. I always find it interesting to hear top players vlog like this because they know something different. You do not make it to top 5 in the world without some fundemental understanding of whats going on. There is, however, something that I am not sure that I would agree with. This is the key to happiness discussed at the end of the video. I do not think that it is communication or surrounding one's self with decent people that is the key. I am not sure if there is a "key" to happiness. I think instead what we should look at is being content. This is not the easiest thing for some people to do, but it is the better way to look at things. For example, If you want a new corvett, but you have a solid running 1996 honda civic, be thankful you have a solid running car. This is just one of many examples that one may think of. There is always something to be thankful for, and while that may not be a key to being happy, it can help one to find himself more content in the long run.
Taking a moment to think to myself while listening to some music tends to help me out IF i'm feeling some negative vibes. Anyways great video, you most likely just helped out a bunch of people right now. I can dig that. :)
Every day I always ponder whether or not I should give up, but stuff like this keeps me going. Don't care if this is a 7 year old video and I am commenting on it but I am a huge fan, and you were one of the key inspirations to play smash competitively. Tho my journey has been long, hard and mentally painful I have made unforgettable friends, and that is what keeps me going on some level no matter how shitty life gets. Thank you.

We, as people, tend to place these larger than life images of the people that we actively follow, and as members of the smash community, names such as Hungrybox and Mango are almost as pertinent to us as our favorite actor or sports star. As someone who deeply understands every word you just spoke, it makes me so happy that someone I admire can relate to me in a way that a lot of people can't. Sometimes I forget that we're the same age and that in another life, perhaps we could have been great friends. Really inspiring stuff, although you said you didn't dealt with the hate good in your previous speech, this video definetely demonstrated that you have a good mental attitude towards what youre doing and through life in general. So heres some advice from a Weightlifter. The reason why I say that I am weightlifter is because the mental game when lifting a barbell is the EXACT same as playing Smash. You have to know that you are able to do what you want to do. If you are about to face someone and think, "Shit I'm going to lose to this guy!" then you already lost the battle. Same when lifting, if you go that barbell and think "Shit this is going to be heavy" you pretty much already lost, because you told yourself its too heavy. So what I am saying to all you and even Hbox Im sure can attest to this, is keep your mental game on point, find your inner power and just keep your self confindent. Finding how to though is a journey on its own, even I am trying my best to do so. Best of luck to you all!
