So I finally received mine from The Lost Co. I must say this is the best iteration of all the AXS controllers on the market. So many angles for adjustments and the clicks are crisp and solid. The second best iteration is the original AXS controller IMO.
I do miss the tactile feel of mechanical X01 and XX1 but AXS is right up there on the podium. Setup is so easy and I don’t need to deal with cable routing or tuning shifting. AXS just worked flawless out of the box. Just had to make 3 clicks on the micro adjust and shifting is smooth as butter. I find X01 AXS shifts better than XX1 AXS.
I couldn’t wait for the separate upgrade, so I just had to buy the complete Rocker Pod and it is so much better. I just lay my thumb on it in the middle and then either push up to move to a lighter gear or down for a higher gear. The only thing is that despite tightening the T25 bolt pretty much it still can happen to me that it comes a bit loose and turns … that is really annoying. Is this a known problem? I will try my next ride with even tighter but it states only 2 Nm🤔
Can you swap the rocker onto the ultimate? I have the ultimate controller but wondering if i can just buy the upgrade or if i have to swap the whole controller.
@@FoVision Hi, yes you can just buy the upgrade and swap the rocker onto your ultimate, The upgrade kit isn’t available till around August in most countries unfortunately.
Been looking for that elusive upgrade kit. Haven’t found it so far. Any tips on where to find it? Riding my pod with a button missing for like 6 months . I hate it .

I’m be had one about a month and so pleased with it . Was never taken by the up and down buttons controller
I heard you mention " it is still not as good as a traditional shifter" ! I feel the same way, thinking about going back to mechanical

@@jedmtb yes the original. Faster shifting for me. Rocker paddle has to much play so i changed to Standard.
Does this new version have that dreaded play that the rocker paddle on original AXS has?
