Ether really made me feel the energy of Dream Theater and GALNERYUS Progressive metal, power metal, neoclassical metal this is legend I've been a fan since 2017 and never thought I'd hear this on BanG Dream
22:17 "I am guessing you can't really play 2 keyboards at the same time" Bro is not ready for Pareo in Raise a Suilen lives playing 3 keyboards + a Keytar while dancing
Recommended Roselia Songs; 1. Blessing Chord - Live or not its okay. 2. Ringing Bloom - same as above 3. R - Really recommending the Live ver. 4. Passionate Anthem - Live recommendation as well. 5. Neo - Aspect.
a few things (ive been so excited for this video lol)... the 5 symbols represent a different character from avemuj, if a certain instrument is standout in a song then it probably represents that character and their instrument however, there's still debate in the community as to which symbol represents who as its different musically and thematically (eg symbol 3 water fits saki musically but ether fits saki more thematically) you said how much you like masquerade rhapsody request and that instrumental part you should see how they perform it live, lots of headbanging and saki playing the keyboard backwards welcome to the sasaki rico fanclub, she's seriously amazing and unsurprisingly has her own solo music career and sounds just as good live yes it is the other members doing the backing vocals! they used them a lot during the symbols series and the way they build in each song is really cool regarding ether, it's hard to catch but the final piano fade out is a reference to the main piano melody in haruhikage, the song also has reference parts to other parts of haruhikage as well as to utakotoba, saki wont forget and she wont let you forget either
Fire, Air, Water, Earth and Ether are all very different from each other. I think this is the one thing I love most about the elements As for 2 keyboards... you'd be surprised how skillful Takao Kanon(Sakiko) is.
In the background those are definitely the band themselves. Remember in the ave mujica (ave mujica) song they were saying "LaLaLa LaLaLa" so yes its them.
Backup vocals are always sang by the members as you presumed. Keyboard vocals are possible but they are not generally used as it sounds quite artificial and would ruin the songs. Btw, adding to your praise for Sasaki's Rico voice, she's also the LEAD guitarist of the band. Not rhythm guitarist. All the solos and melody parts of the guitar (even while singing) are her's, not Mutsumi's. She's one hell of a musician, which is evern funnier knowing that her background is actually as a jazz musician and she had never played (or sang) any metal music before AveMu. Saw her live on their first concert ever doing all those crazy solos while singing and my jaw dropped. A lot of the "Ave Mujica" sound you hear is actually because they use 7-string guitars and a 5 string bass. Usually guitars are 6 strings, 7 strings sound a lot more "heavy" and dark (same with bass, they usually are 4 strings) as these extra strings are tuned lower than the usual ones. This leads quite well to the instrumental breakdowns. A lot of the "inputs" that you hear are as well from the guitars, there are a ton of pedals that can be used, and each one adds a different kind of texture to the sound. 99% of the time you are hearing some "distorted" sound in the background is one of the 2 guitars adding depth to the song using a very heavy distortion alongside the bass. And for example, the "flute" in the last song is actually a guitar (not keyboard) with a super clean tone (no distortion at all) with quite a bit of a delay effect and cutting a lot of treble. Same for the fadeout, it's not keyboard in this case it's a guitar with a different effect. This can be easily achived with pedals, you press on them while playing and change sounds on the fly. And yeah you are right, all the instruments outside guitars, bass and drums, are done with the keyboard. That is, in a live stage. As these are studio recordings, you are actually hearing the real instruments, and later in the concerts they write simplified parts for those instruments so that the keyboardist can play them, or use backing tracks. But yeah, the cello in Symbol 3 is a real cello.
About the background of Ricochi (Sasaki Rico) as a Jazz singer actually Jazz have been integrated in Rock and Metal Music for such a long time so transitioning from one different style to another isn't that difficult and some examples I can give are Ono Masatoshi a balladeer and a traditional rock singer and later on becoming the lead singer of the Neo Classical and Power Metal band Galneryus, also Asami from LOVEBITES actually started as a Soul and Rhythm and Blues Singer before transitioning to Power Metal.
Uika Is the Vocalist and guitarist Mutsumi is The Rhythm Guitar with mainly rifts Sakiko plays keyboard and organ Umiri plays base Nyamu does drums Just in case no one knows this. All ave mujica songs has their own meaning and lore too them. I could explain them all which is not difficult for me personally, it's truly upto Mat if he wants to know if he'll ever read this😂
22:45 actually, saki's VA did play two keyboards(one hand on each keyboard, you can see that in "ave mujica" MV I think)at the same time on live performance, she even played the keyboard backward once when she's really hype most keybord players in BanG Dream did a lot of crazy things on live performances there's a saying says if you like the bang dream franchise but didn't watch live you would lose half of the fun things as for Roselia songs I prefer live version they really did great performance on stage So,no matter what others recommended I highly suggest react to the live version
Ave Mujica doesn't have any bad songs they are really technical and really heavy even the ballds like Angles and Symboll III are really great. Their first Mini Album Alea Jacta Est and their upcoming second Mini Album ELEMENTS are All Killer, No Filler Masterpiece.
Ringing Bloom(2019 富士急wasser version) R(live version, impressive bass solo) 軌跡(kiseki,a slow song) violet line(singing together with the audience on live) 😭陽だまりロードナイト😭(Hidamri ro-donaito,bangdream 5th live version,The original bassist quit roselia due to health reasons--yurika -> yuki, and this was the last time she participated in live as LISA, and it was also the song from the game event DONT LEAVE ME LISA. This live is also the only time that six members have played together.)
If you are looking for Roselia song recommendations, I suggest checking out the song Roselia - Avant Garde History I highly recommend this song because it is the hardest song Roselia has ever had. In an interview, the Roselia members said that the song Avant Garde History was the most difficult song they learned during practice.
shout out to the voice actress for nyamu - Yonezawa Akane for that killer drumming in the first song p/s: yes Roselia vocalist is Aiba Aina or Aiai as fan like to call her.
Recommendations for Roselia: 陽だまりロードナイト(Hidamri ro-donaito), 軌跡(kiseki), ZEAL of proud, Sprechchor, 一逢のFull Glory(Ichiaino Full Glory), Violet Line, Sage der Rosen, 覚悟のLiberation(kakugono liberation), Floral Haven. As for the recommendation for Ave Mujica, sadly there are too few songs as of this moment so the only original you haven't heard is ふたつの月 ~Deep Into The Forest~(Futatsu no Tsuki ~Deep Into The Forest~)
Recommended Roselia songs: 1.Passionate anthem--you may want some explosion first 2.約束(yakusoku)--a promise between yukina and lisa 3.Violet line--the appeal of this song is incredible 4.floral haven--just enjoy the vioce from aiai 5.ringing bloom--a song for rinko And you can also search for the live version of firebird, especially in a concert named"rausch",which is a perfect performance. Thank you for all your reaction,I'll support you as long as possible❤
It’s worth mentioning that most of these are produced as music files farther than just the instruments they play. Most of these likely could or would not be played by the members alone. For example in Water, she’s definitely playing a full two hands of piano and then there’s backing MP3s of the strings and such. The wind ensemble was likely also an MP3.
And did you notice? Sakiko put in a part of the intro of Haru Hikage into the end of Ether… she says “let me forget it all…” and yet she can’t. Sakiko: 😎 Somebody: Take off your sunglasses. Sakiko: 🦸 Somebody: Take off your mask. Sakiko: 🥺
14:01 In Symbol I actually they are using distortortion for the Bass also Symbol II isn't funk rather it's actually a combination of different genres from Swing Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Blues Metal, etc.
question about how two sounds with keyboards work: saki has two keyboards, so one can just be a regular piano, and the other the cello, and she plays each with one hand dunno if all keyboards have that functionality, but with some settings you can also split a keyboard in the middle and the two halves can play a different type of instrument after also i was talking to someone yesterday and they pointed out that in ether you can make out haruhikage (ending piano and final chorus guitar riff) and i think utakotoba? (this one might just be a hallucination, but piano in bridge) at the end, so there's a sense that ether is in a dialogue with ex-crychic members or maybe mygo? either way, saki is cooking something in-universe i wouldn't be surprised if it's gonna be part of a major turning pointscene in the ave mujica anime when that comes out
if you like 'symbol1,3,4;masquerade rhapsody request',i really recommend the song 'Deep Into The Forest' it was a insane metalcore song for ave mujica!
For Roselia Video i hope u react to one of my favorites cover of "Charles" by Roselia, and for Original song i hope i guess Violet Line is a good choice
Ether really made me feel the energy of Dream Theater and GALNERYUS
Progressive metal, power metal, neoclassical metal

Symbol IV is stylistically the most diverse of these amazing songs and emotionally overwhelming. Clearly my No.1
it's so etheral. The last chrous where Uika sings, and the rest of the vocals catch up, then the pause .. i was screaming
Fire, Air, Water, Earth and Ether are all very different from each other. I think this is the one thing I love most about the elements

And Symbol I is based off Umiri
Symbol II is Mutsumi
Symbol III Water is sakiko
Symbol 4 is nyamu
Ether is Uika.
I think Nyamu fits more Symbol 1 than Symbol 4
@@T0XY4 Watch the 2nd live then get back to me.
akane yonezawa 🛐🛐🛐
When you inevitably react to Roselia's songs, react to all of the original songs and make a tier list ❤

Sakiko: 🥺
Oh there is another song worth watching, which is kizuna music(live ver.)from roselia×poppin party. This show could bring a lot of surprise for you
Ringing Bloom and Zeal of proud are my reccomendations for Roselia.
You should see the live performance of Akane Yonezawa. She beats a drum cool intensely loudly.
14:01 In Symbol I actually they are using distortortion for the Bass also Symbol II isn't funk rather it's actually a combination of different genres from Swing Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Blues Metal, etc.
My Roselia recommendations would be, ringing bloom, violet line, rozen horizon, sprechor, sage der rosen

and regarding roselia songs i'd love to see sage der rosen (their lead single for their newest album) and blessing chord!
Also in Utopia sakiko plays side to side with keyboard piano and organ.

Symbol 2. I know roselia is always compare but for me this song I almost a dark Hello Happy Wolrd.
