Many years ago a friend of mine rolled his new full size Jeep pickup all the way down the face of a huge sand dune. The wreck was sitting in his driveway next to his '56 Chevy Bel Air. It only took a few beers before we realized that the Chevy and the Jeep were almost the same wheelbase. The swap was way easier than we thought it would be and the joy of dune running in a '56 Chevy was a delight to all.
For the amount of work and level of creativity in your builds you guys deserve soooo much more attention. Please get linked with some larger channels to get the popularity your dedication should be bringing.
The only reason I got a youtube recommendation for this channel was because of the cat. After binge-watching the Tetenus BC Gambler video series in one sitting... uh... er... by clicking each video one at a time instead of finding the full build video like a normal person would, I still would like MORE of the cat. A back story, status. How old is "Hobo", are you guys the primary caregivers? Etc etc. In the meantime I guess I will have to watch more car stuff.
ruclips.net/video/xuJ1C6MkGaI/видео.html Hobo just started wander around about 4 years ago. We don't know his history but we keep him feed and we built him a heated home for the colder winter months.
Y'all amazed me with the quality welding and repairs on this project. Seriously, I admire your dedication to do things well... ok except for a few sketchy things like the high lift jack stands. Good show! Carry on gentlemen, you are inspirational.
You guys really did create something special there when you created dreadnought that's a project that you should continue and make it even better there's always Gambler 2023
I'd already watched the entire Dreadnought series before, but it was just as enjoyable watching this compilation. Your editing and continuity animations are top drawer - I'm guessing that'd something you guys do professionally.
That's how all push button radios used to work. To set the station you get tuned to the station you want that button associated with, you pull the lever out, and then push it in to set that particular station.
Only a Canadian could so thoroughly destroy a car and still make something fun like this, despite admittedly not liking it personally. Snow rednecks, the Bubbas of the car world. Definitely subscribing. High quality content for such a small channel, amazing job guys, you're definitely gonna blow up in size.
Wonderful build, this is thinking outside the frame. I have something like this planned, i have a volvo v70n body that´s going onto a durango chassie. Start building that in next fall. Particually i liked the good, and much needed, repairs on the caddie. Many of these builds are just slapped together and laziness is blaimed on the ratrod fhenomenom, an by that logic no real repairs are done cause of the "patina". Not to happy about the foam in the back fenders, my experiance is that a procedure like that gives more rust. But you perhaps use a different kind of foame? Anywho, keep up the good work, love the car!
The space between the rear bumper and the cars bumper would be s great place to put the spare tire continental kit style. What better stylizing accessory for a Gambler car? Just make an extension tube for the gas filler tube to locate it in the center hole of the spare wheel since its already hard to get to.
I would love to take that cab and chassis, and build a pickup truck from it. Definitely not a common build, but clearly doable. I've seen something similar done in my area.
you guys are the best. your projects are just the greatest creations i have ever seen , true art. fantastic body work. please be careful when you work, you scare me some times. keep up the great work.
I'm betting you pissed off a whole bunch of Cadillac Cadillac enthusiast hawhatever whatever that's one hell of a build you guys are doing Thanks for the video I always have a good time
What in an after-market Edelbrock or Holley four-barrel carburetor do the job? Or was the engine so finicky it only would work with the Rochester carburetor?
Time to remove the shoilet, and that stands for shower toilet combo. If you ever worked on the cruise ship especially when the larger Royal Caribbean ships you will eventually get a private room it will have a shared toilet shower combo
mom bought a rv last summer that she spent a few weeks in traveling about only to figure out there was mold in it after the fakt the thing was not salvageble but I wish we had taken an axe to the interior after we had removed the few things we thought were still useble.
ALMOST makes me wan to rip an old DODGE COMMANDER w/ what I'm guessing is a 440 here @ home apart to drop a CHRYSLER CORDOBA also here @ home onto it that has only a 360...
that dark Caddie next to the one you salvaged the front end from looked like a good restoration candidate. i have mixed feelings about these sorts of builds i would much rather see old cars restored to factory (or restomod) if at all possible
Dreadnaught needs a locked rear end.. one wheel burn just doesn't do it.. *Wonders outloud* what would you guys do with a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer.. *its for sale*
Back in the day they called that kind of radio a wonder bar there's also a switch down by We're the low and high beam switch on the floor is where your switches on the floor Tap it and it should go to the next local channel I thought they were cool in the day I grew up with that shit
The next time you two, in addition to any friends, demolish another project, hit the place closest to where nails are located, not the middle of the wood. This will only allow it to ricochet from that length of wood. It will additionally allow that project to ve finished quicker. That's what I noticed when one of you was swinging that sledgehammer to that RV. Yes, it's an acronym of recreational vehicle.
I like how y'all are comical yet informative while still having fun building stuff. It gets old seeing everyone trying to be hardcore professionals.
Thanks, we're just doing stuff and keeping it fun.
That is one of the most laid-back cats I've ever seen.
Yup, Hobo is pretty chill.

I love the channel, cars, ingenuity and music. Can’t ask for much more.❤

This one programs its self. Some even had a push button on the floor to skip to the next station.

I'm glad you like it
Perfect car to take to something like wasteland weekend
Agreed, may have to some day.
Working on a 72 Ford f100 I used spray foam for cab corners. Stopped water, wind and noise just fine.
Hey some fellow British Columbians 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Glad you enjoyed! We're not happy with the foam either. Treated as a "temporary" repair as we only had a few days left at that point.
Wow you guys do some very well edited videos and this full project video is great, I’ve seen all your videos and they all very good.
Awesome, thank you!

As usual- love the content!
Glad you enjoy it!
You guys have some great skills and a cute kitty. Do you have any other pets? A Dawg perhaps?
Such a cool ride.
I was 8 years old when that motor home was new and now I'm 52

Go up big bear heading towards sugarloaf on big bear blvd...on north side of roas you will see a few of these built...now sitting rusting
The Capri and the Camaro? If were 1400 miles in that direction we'll check em out...
@@DawgstripProductions there'd a Capri there one of them

Awesome build, are you guys coming to the Vernon swap meet again March 24/25?
Hoping to see you there
Sorry for the delay, we just spent 3 weeks in Japan.
Yes we plan to be there tomorrow but just to shop this time around.
@@DawgstripProductions wow! Did you video anything there? Bring me G series van doors? Haha
Oh yes. Drove Go-Karts through Tokyo. Rented an RV. Explored a few abandoned locations. Very busy time.
You lads do more skids than the Skid Factory.
In fairness skid factory is in land of convicts 🤣

I additionally see that the 460 engine has headers, which means it was partially hot rodded.
Awesome 👍

This Cadillac build is awesome I think you even outdone the tetanus build
loving it, probably does 2mpg :D

His use of that sledge hammer cut its handles life expectancy by 50% on just one project....lol

where are yu guys? hope you're coming back
next time just have your buddy at the scrap yard use a machine to remove it lol
Love it 😂😂😂
You can build stuff like that and probably enter it in junkyard wars or mad Max beyond thunderdome if they made a new one
How about swapping in the hotter Cadillac motor and maybe the suspension as well?
If you can find her early 60s Lincoln Continental I would put on the motorhome chassis and then find an old GMC motorhome chassis for dreadnought
Is it road legal?
My brothers in Christ how do you find deals like that?
All right lads, here me out. Medium size boat, Winnie frame
Fantastic idea!
complete that Dreadnought like paint job and whatever other things that needs working and go to SEMA

😎😁👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Too bad you couldn't use explosives to get rid of the old motorhome body
$500 for that POS Caddy??? They should have paid you to take it away!
May I suggest turning this into a 4WD? 😊 I’d love to see it rock crawling.

It’s craptacular
