Despite this, she started to lose weight and act reclusively. This persisted for a few weeks until her weight loss became so severe that I took her to a vet. The vet ran bloodwork and discovered high liver enzymes and high bilirubin. This cost $655.62. They referred her to an animal hospital (Nashville Veterinary Specialists). NVS diagnosed her with hepatic lipidosis. This is being treated with an IV, temporary feeding tube, and anti-nausea medication. She is predicted to need more medical care including an esophageal feeding tube, antibiotics, Maropitant Citrate, Metoclopramide, Orbifloxacin, sterile bandages, and specialized nutrition. The total NVS bill is estimated to be over $8,300. This is a significant cost that I am requesting help in completing. Any amount of money that you donate will contribute to the health and recovery of Billie. She is due for a checkup on February 21, 2024.

I think he means a person, other than yourself who runs the campaign on behalf of you. They're the Beneficiary, they're receiving the donations on your behalf.
I suppose all his early ideas are likely to be effective, but they seem to be ways to game the system. Maybe that's just the way society works today. A friend has a situation that he partially created but doesn't want to shout blame, he just wants to get out of a bad place so he can keep watching over his two sons. If his story isn't worthy of help, I don't t think he's trying and spin or manipulate his plight for his gain. Isn't that one reason that this country is so f097ked up?
The assumption of fault and responsibility are flawed. The system is skewed against most people. I’d be serious to know how your buddy is responsible for his own situation. Bet he’s not nearly as responsible as most of the people around him think.

I think this needs to be updated given GoFundMe's new policy of confiscating funds donated to causes the government hasn't approved.
