The whole Battle for the Grid one is especially weird because even though they had all 7 MMPR rangers only 2 were pure MMPR the rest from of them were all variations rather than just sticking with the basic version and the fact it's an adaptation of the Shattered Grid story means that they needed them all.
Also love the rebuttal "Not all the seasons need reps,it's a fighting game" Because of course not, each character in a fighting game has a particular fighting style and thing they bring to the table so just adding the rep just for representation sake doesn't do anything for anybody
@@WhoisThatGuy- Especially when I am sorry but most Rangers are basically the same outside of the occasional team and all of the DLC picked were super different and I think the only stand out team missing rep would be Dino/Cosmic Fury because of their focus on swords and the various keys leaning to a super interesting form change style but obviously that was a little too long after release.
Billy deffo should've been the Gold Zeo Ranger but I'd also argue that on top of being a sort of mentor in Cosmic Fury, he should've outright became Cosmic Fury Blue. Yeah, he could use the Power Coin for a bit here-and-there before the CF power is formed for nostalgia purposes, or even let Ollie be the CF Blue in the last episode and THAT would be where the MMPR Blue comes back into play but I guess I just feel like shelving CF Blue to the very end felt like a slight missed opportunity.
My hot take is that while Billy could have been a mentor, Tarrick should have been Cosmic Blue until they rescue Ollie. When Ollie become Blue, Tarrick would become Purple. Also Lani, Mucus, and Slyther (the later 2 in either their human or monster forms) should have been Cyan, Pink, and Yellow (I'm stilling trying to figure who would have been the best to make Silver that fits his personality)
I mainly watch Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. So It's crazy to see someone talk about a franchise that looks exactly like what I watched but it feels so foreign to me and I'm American. lol
I just watched the power rangers movie and it’s ok I feel like it would be better as it’s own thing separate from any preexisting ip the fact that it’s power rangers and it takes some stuff in a different direction is always going to be the source of some hate for any preexisting franchise
I think rpm is the one that people tend to forget until it’s brought up because Dino thunder exists, MMPR exists, samurai exists etc. it’s overshadowed a bit until someone talks about it, kind of like the age old PlayStation vs Xbox debate, people forget PC exists.
