Rereading “The List” is my favorite part. I straight up CACKLED at in-universe Barney, and “Connor gets his back blown out and undoes magic” SOUNDED LIKE SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT before I remembered the correct context
actually there's a valid reason to not like them, a good chunk of fans feel they take away from the actual morphed powers, this is especially the case if the civilian powers are literally just part of the morphed powers. this is why operation overdrive gets a lot more hate for it's super strength/agility/senses, than spd does for having hologram clones and energy reading. some people also just don't like unmorphed fights having too many visual effects since it takes away from the charm of them being unmorphed fights, which is still very different to a fun allergy. if they had one of those they wouldn't be watching power rangers in the first place.

One of my favorite things I heard about Dino Thunder that I think was only a rumor, but could be true, is that Zeltrax was originally planned to be Billy Cranston from MMPR, but when they couldn't get Yost to come in, they just made it a guy named Smitty. Sadly one of the things that I was most disappointed to find out is the actress for Kira has no love for her former PR role, and shows open contempt for fans on Twitter who message her about it and fondly call her Kira.
What an incredibly well put together video. I’ll be real I get a strange feeling about this show also. it was the earliest television memory I have. I’m not sure if it’s just nostalgia as you mentioned but there’s something about this series in particular that means something more to me than the others. Fantastic video again.
Honestly, if Cassidy turned out to become this season's Pink, that would have gone pretty hard. I always like the "bully turned friend" archetype and for that to segue into giving Cassidy a bit more heroic depth would have been super interesting in my opinion.
Don't even give me started on the music that plays when the rangers are fighting the t drones. And I still haven't been able to find that music in raw form

Dino Thunder was my first season too. It was the one that aired when I first got into the franchise, SPD is my favorite, but Dino Thunder was my second favorite. I also had the GameCube game, it was one of the first games I ever got. It was a suggestion from my sister since I loved Power Rangers It’s……… not great but it’s the one shovelware game I will never sell off
As someone who Grew up on Mighty Morphin when it first came out, I love all the times they brought back JDF and how they gave him the mentor role in this show
as someone who did, yes. the only thing that's arguably lost is tommy's story arc, but the show does a great job filling in anyone who never watched those seasons. one might also say that the contrast of the rangers being realistic normal teenagers, instead of perfect paragons, or that the comic relief weren't cartoon characters like bulk and skull, might also be lost, but mighty morphin' wasn't the last show to use those tropes either.
Dino Thunder is actually a great season for returning viewers and brand new viewers. The ones returning are super hyped about the return of Tommy Oliver and the new ones are intrigued by the mystery of Tommy Oliver. It’s a win-win for everyone, plus there’s no massive nostalgia bait surrounding Tommy
Lol I think the 12 stroke engine bit was because in Turbo he was very into driving cars and fast Vehicles so he pretty much knew Trent wouldnt know jack about ATV's

Yes in Abaranger the Rivalry between Aba Red and AbareKiller(White) is more complex hell the white ranger isn't even evil because of the powers he just woke up and chose violence that's pretty much what I can say without spoiling too much in case anyone wants to watch this series
My favorite Power Rangers season. Why is that? Because this was the final season I had toys of. Heck I had T-shirts for this season too that I don’t have anymore unfortunately. It was also the final season I had battlizer toys from too. It hits differently for my own sentimental reasons. Yeah definitely this season still holds up for me and I would end up watching Abaranger about three years ago. As I was watching the Sentai source material, I noticed what was used, what was changed and what wasn’t used in the Power Rangers adaptation. I honestly found that interesting really and it made me really appreciate Dino Thunder and even Abaranger more.
