Beautiful plane , beautiful landing, beautiful Lake Hood, spectacular mountains , WOW!.........I stayed in a hotel on the lake in 1968, always remember it.
I am from Uruguay, 85, no pilot, but I love aviation. What an excellent video! Most impressive scenery and picturesque hydroport/ airport to operate from.
Love seeing this restored and flying again. Last time I saw one of these was in Maine on Moosehead Lake just outside of Greenville. I’m a huge fan of vintage aircraft
Beautiful! Not bad for an 80 year old flying boat. Grumman ironworks and dedicated maintenance. I'd like to think that if and when I hit 80 I'm in such great condition!
Great to see a Goose back in flight. I got to fly in one back in my college days fire fighting with the BLM around McGrath, Alaska. Lots of fond memories and one fatal helicopter crash
Lake Hood Seaplane Base is adjacent to Anchorage International Airport. If you look at it in Google Maps it will be clear to you. In short, yes. The strip of land delineates and protects the “runway”.
Congratulations to all! I am so glad I was able to thank Tom Wardleigh for his service to Alaska airmen. His segments on Alaska Weather were, and still are, priceless! Hopefully those old stories have been written down...

Seems to fly beautifully. Love the livery too. Outstanding build guys. Thanks for sharing.
Nice to see such an old aircraft still flying and even better that it's a seaplane.
Great to see this classic back in the air
One of my favorite a/c in a very striking paint job.

Gotta love a classic Grumman. That's a fine airplane you have there.
Beautiful aircraft, well done on the restoration of this classic Aircraft
Talented pilot

ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT
BRAVO 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👍👍
So beautiful! Lovely job and nice livery!
Great looking restoration.
Burke is one of our (Alaska) best living pilot
Nice two ship Raptor flyby at 2:24!
Radials instead of PT6s. For historical reasons? Great looking plane. I used to watch them up in Kodiak flying in and out of the harbor.
Enjoyable video. Thanks
Awesome video!
❤❤ Great video! Many thanks for your Lifetime achievement in Restoration of Flying Buddy 🙏
What a fantastic video. Thanks for sharing this. Moreover, congratulations to the restoration team! I love the color combination. Well done team.
good camera guy

Magnificence.
*Let the Sunshine In...*
A beautiful aircraft and wonderful piloting skills, I found myself thinking "Sink rate, pull up!" lol.
2:25 Awesome!
Pretty bird, everybody should have one...
"The plane! The plane!" No WAIT. That's a Goose. Even more impressive than a Widgeon.
The Widgeon from that show was a French built SCAN with R-680s. Dreadful airplane, particularly if compared to a nice McKinnon Widgeon.
If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and flies like a duck, it's a Grumman Goose! 😁😅😂🙃
What us the purpose of that big patch of land in the middle of the lake? Is it man made?

I like the way the pilot was picking his nose and landed on the wrong lake.

Is this that same area where a plane was trying to takeoff, banked and crashed towards the left into those buildings not too long ago?
Wow! What a difference from when I saw it last September.
Touch for scoop the water into bladder at plane
Beautiful, just beautiful. 👍👍👍
Beautiful Aircraft!!
