I am trying to figure out why the landing gear was in the down position for runway ops., when in the water, thanks for the video.

I don't think it was completely down, but it was down to some degree. I'm like you, what gives with that?

@@charliemcsorley6286 Yeah, I am not float plane qualified, perhaps it's some sort of "drag" maneuver. And yes it wasn't completely down as you said. Nice airplane, for sure.

Pretty A/C but why was no ones hands on the throttles on T/O?

It is west in Norway. From Bergen airport Flesland and up to the Sognefjord.

Ok, wheels then. Looking to some flying up that way this summer. High wing of course. I don't want to have to fly upside down to see all that beauty. @@PerEinarJansen

I understand the desire to take photos, but don't do it while handflying close to the ground. Have somebody else do it for you.

I am not flying, I am just a pax using my iPhone to film from the cocpit back seat.

I meant the pilot on the left seat. And is not a negative criticism, but rather, bringing attention to bad habits that sometimes us aviators do without even realizing it.
Fantastic video and aircraft BTW. Once I retire from airline flying, this is the type of aviation I would love to do.
