Youre right. I bought this part (the pair) here in Brazil (which is called bucha do eixo traseiro) and I notice a huge difference. My 500 Sport 2010 is waaaay more smoother! Rgds!

So if I understand this correctly - Fiat will not sell the bushings for your type of Panda, but they will sell the 'very, very similar' item for a 500 Abarth ? If that's right, then I bet you are glad you discovered this - who wants to buy a whole rear axle because the bushings are worn ???? :o)

You've got the whole issue picture perfectly framed :-D However, I can't and won't state the bushings for the Abarth are absolutely identical to those that are put on the rear axle for the Panda Nuova (legal liability and such)! It might be something with wear and tear on the axle itself that Fiat won't sell them separately; However the Abarth ones sure do work nicely if your axle is perfect :-)

I had my axle replaced. Clunking. Had a different garage take a look. Not aligned properly. Unsure to leave or dangerous. Could be doing without cost.

If I remember correctly there's an official tool for it; I don't know the number though.
