Excellent techniques but this should not be a lengthy trick but a two minute one, perfect for closing a show with. The best version of it ever performed by a professional magician was British star GEOFFREY DURHAM. His performance of the newspaper tearing trick was the original and it remains the gold standard!

Bill Page, why do you want to get magic tricks for free instead of supporting original creators of magic ? John Cornelius's effect with the nickle is not that expensive and by purchasing it from a legit magic shop which sells John's original version you'll get the correct instructions and you'll be financially supporting the original creator of the effect instead of participating in the ongoing rape and pillage of magic that is carried out by the RUclips exposers . Do you think it's easy and takes no effort to come up with original magic effects ? No, it's not easy, so that's why not everyone can do it. We have a few original thinkers like John Cornelius who are nowadays not motivated to create and release new material because of the thieves and exposers on RUclips and other internet sites , who can't innovate or create, but can only steal other people's intellectual property.

Very cool thanks pal :) I've been praying to Jesus to learn the gene Anderson newspaper tear and thanks to you I know how it's done just like cool illusionist magician Doug henning done on one of his many cool NBC magic television specials :) I had ideas like a triangle fold but can't figure how to make it come out right? And another idea I thought how it could be bone is rolled up pieaces in a ball connect to sticky tape connected to a pull-up system thread reel ideas or like blackstone vanish bird cage pull-up system idea concepts

If you are still looking for a newspaper tear illusion, I strongly - no I must urge you to check out Axel Hecklau's "Newsflash 2.0".
Having been in magic myself for 15 years, I have yet to come across such a visual, clean, compelling and exceptionally convincing newspaper tear. I guarantee that "Newsflash 2.0" is by far one the most visually pieces of magic you will ever come across, and with out a shredd of doubt THE best newspaper tear! If you truly want to learn magic like the Anderson newspaper tear then support the original creator by purchasing his book or dvd instead of encouraging crass exposers like Nadjib Haffaf who steals other people's intellectual property and exposes it on RUclips for free, thereby depriving the original creator of any income. Don't support exposers and thieves . (also, what the clown shows in the video is not the Anderson effect , so your prayers were not answered.
