Worth noting: in France Sheev uses the singular second person "you" while in Quebec he uses the plural second person which is more formal (like calling him "Mr. Skywalker" vs. "Anakin").
Sadly Ryszard Nawrocki, who voiced Palpatine in Polish passed away in 2011. He did manage to reprise the role of the Emperor in the original trilogy (the first and only original trilogy dub in Polish is from blu-ray release from 2011). Palpatine has had many voices in Polish throughout the years but in my opinion (maybe because of nostalgia) Ryszard Nawrocki was the best voice for him. He sounded very similar to Ian McDiarmid, especially in the original trilogy.
I completely agree with you on two counts. Firstly, the Spanish (Latin), Hungarian, Turkish, and Polish versions are fantastic because the voices of these four actors bear such a striking resemblance to McDiarmid's. Secondly, Ryszard Nowicki is truly a legend.
Quick question, where did you find Tamil and Telugu ? I've been trying to find the OT (Return of the Jedi specifically) in those languages but I cannot find them. :(
I used to download them from toontamilworld, but now you apparently need to request access to the files. Here's the file nonetheless (including Tamil + Hindi + Telugu in 5.1) drive.google.com/file/d/1De1Dc6VNTAsPrllhx9Xoc-tuHQHq7XPW/view I hope they let you download it!
@@diokles Thank you so much !! :D I know of this site but I couldn't download them from there. Thankfully since writing this, I was able to find them on another website with the same 5.1 audios and was able to download them. :)
@@willdubguruWilliamMeagher Yaay you're welcome! Btw you told me that you have the 6 movies in Malay, any idea where I can find the dub, or can you send it to me? I just need Revenge of the Sith for now (3rd episode). You can even just send me the fragments I need, depending on your preference ^^
@@diokles I can send scenes for you. :D The only one I will not send is the Obi-Wan & Anakin Mustafar fight. There's a line in there I'd like to make a multi of myself. :D Otherwise, I'm all ears. :) Btw, if you start collecting the OT, each film has nine-ten Turkish dubs. :O
@@willdubguruWilliamMeagher No problem, thanks in advance! For now I need these lines: 1. Anakin saying "This is where the fun begins" [around the 3rd/4th minute] 2. Obi-Wan saying "Another Happy Landing" [around the 23rd/24th minute] 3. When Anakin interferes the duel between Mace Windu & Palpatine until Mace is pushed off the window [around 1:13:00 ~ 1:15:00] ALSO, I'm making a one line of "Another happy landing" atm, but the Cantonese file I have has that line cut off because of the bad recording... if you have that scene in Cantonese, please do send that one too 😖
@@Buzz956 Thanks, I didn't know. I mean, I knew it can't be what I heard, but didn't know what it exactly was. But still, I hear suno to sahi everytime 😂
When somebody tells you to do something in 24 different languages, you DEW IT!
The literal description of "in how many languages i need to Tell You The same shit?"
Ukrainian: stop hesitating/stalling
Russian: K I L L
in portuguese too lmao
Turkish is also: K I L L
English - "do it"
Thai - "cUm"?!? 🤣🤣🤣
GEEZ I AM SORRY LET ME CRY LAUGHING FOR A SEC 🤣
After like, 10 attempts of trying to unhear that & somehow succeeded: YOU DO THIS 😂😭
Lmao I heard it too until after the third time I heard him actually say "kha man" meaning kill him

The Thai voice of Palpatine / Darth Sidious is
Kreangsak Riantong.
Telugu making Dooku scream even though his vocal cords are literally destroyed by a lightsaber… choices.
LMAO 💀💀💀
Learning how to say "Do it" in many languages.
Claisse made it clear that he is...a Sith Lord, he is a bit creepy.
LOL you're welcome. I'd say that Quebec French is my favourite here (except for lord Ian of course), his voice sounds like it's coming out of hell XD
@@diokles I agree he is the embodiment of the Dark Side on this line.
Ian is as you said a Lord!
In French and Italian (for as I know), he says "Kill him".
öldür
-turkish palpatine
Good. Gut. Goed. Bien. Bien. Bem. Bene.

Did any other Hindi speaker hear "suno to sahi" in the Tamil version ? 😅
Nope it was sonnadha sayi which means do what was said.
