Pro tip: if you need materials for your hideout, then scav on Ground Zero. Everybody's just trying to do their quest right now, and they're not looting. The grenade launcher building has loads of PCs, and the underground parking lot has a lot technical materials.
I hope that I'm not stepping on TMP's toes here but some more great creators for starting in Tarkov are: Gigabeef for more casual and general game guides, quest updates, patches, small tips, tricks and useful knowhow presented in an easily digestible way. Airwingmarine for all things hideout, fleamarket, builds/quest optimization, meta analysis that goes really in depth on how certain mechanics work/he does a lot LOT of testing with his community and other creators - I'd only recommend the in depth stuff a bit later on though since it can somewhat remove the joy of exploring mechanics yourself. Veritas for testing, analysis, general takes on Tarkov and other things presented in an entertaining manner. And as honorable mentions: AxelTV and Trey24k for the ultra sweaty gaming chair guys that are done with the wipe in a week but keep playing because they have severe stockholm syndrome. Pestily for everything, even though he doesn't really make a lot of specific guide content anymore you can learn a lot from him just playing Tarkov. Plus he's just a wholesome dude. EUL gaming for lore, pretty much VaatiVidya for Tarkov (even if not with the frankly stupid production quality Vaati has nowadays).
I personally like to see the creator but that's just me. I feel the same as you say. It gives a higher "connection" with the creator. Keep up the awesome work

It is good to try some styles something, you never know if you can find a more suitable style that you even enjoy more. Always take the roubles they claim to make and divide by 1+the number of pmcs they kill. A lot of Tarkov creators lack the common sense to realize that "kill everyone and loot the whole map" is not a strategy that works for non streamers. The average person doing this raid will get about an average amount of loot from the raid; which would be (loot/party size+encounters) because the average player isn't better than average 🙄. Should be obvious.
If you want to make money on Tarkov then do night time woods scav raids and hit all the stashes. I quite literally play with headphones on or while watching a TV show because it is that peaceful. I run into someone maybe 1/50 raids.

the facecam helps w/ putting a face to a name/voice. personally i prefer it (that and i thought you were capping about the bird lol (idk many other people w/ birds)) also arena is absolutely busted for just raw money
I think with the Webcam you could go the route of Faze Jev with not every video having a Webcam in it, still provides the footage to put a face to the voice but takes a bit of the workload off with editing and filming

Nah the shoreline loot run is mine :(. I get hella hideout stuff from it, now more people will remember it. It got popular last wipe and now this wipe so far it's been empty. So far I've been doing this, I got my scav rep to 4, and I've been farming arena for fun since its easy rubles and xp and gp coins.

This is also the exact loot run I tried at the start, if I spawned tunnel side, I looted all the houses and gtfo path to lighthouse, if I spawned road to customs side I looted this camp and took the car extract out (boosting old mate Fence). I stopped because I spawned Tunnel like 80% of the time, but honestly the towns there are actually really good for tech spawns for hideout.

don't run factory as scavs. I scav at night, at custom, those batteries and tools or ropes is expensive. Found like 3 tools which is around 250k early wipe.
Any tips on how to get gzhels for hot delivery? I paid 1.5 mil to turn in the second gzhel to ragman and I’m not gonna have the money for 2 more lmfaoooo
i tried the arena portion but i leveled too 7 with it, but then the next time i played i got too level 12 in arena and when i logged back on normal tarkov i was the same level (7) as before. so i dont know what happened
There were a bug between tarkov and Arena. If people began with arena you got after 1 match max rep with fence and you jumped 3 levels up but the first update after the wipe patch bsg cause some bugs between arena and tarkov
Gave arena a try again, haven’t played tarkov in a while and it made things a lot more enjoyable for me. Got to level 20 with it and a a good amount of money, buying stuff with gp coins and selling on flea or traders go crazy too. I only want pvp so great to have that option to skip the prim.
For tutorials specifically I dont think showing your face adds much value. When it comes to gameplay I could personally take it or leave it but the broad audience will probably enjoy it more

this wipe i keep dying off cooldown, so frustrating, i kill 1 dude and immediately the teammate shows up and claps me, then there are some quests that get me stuck forever, first salewas now the fucking tarcone's key, to get it i try to get goshan and loot food for the barter but i keep dying non stop, then i have to waste time 5/10 minutes each raid reequipping all the items and weapons cause the preset option is terrible and useless, they introduced an awesome qol with the mannequins but to "unlock" this qol i have to build the fucking mannequins and so i have to wait to unlock them on the hideout...if it wasnt for the time wasted in the stash managing stuff and reequipping it would be a good raid but hey, 9 years development game still in early access wcyd

How do hidden cache work with PMC count on map? I was under the impression that the loot in them is predetermined as the match loads for the PMCs
