Slight PK related tip, prepop Goldenstars rather than Vaseline because Goldenstar levels your metabolism while Vaseline doesn’t. Also Goldenstars have 10 uses but you should only use 9 out of the 10 that way with your 1/10 Goldenstars you can use those to craft propitals in your hideout for the entirety of the wipe! Enjoy the wipe gamers

Recent change of rogue ai makes USEC 10x easier on lighthouse. If you don't know rogues don't agro usec unless you get too close and even then just the AI you got too close to will agro not the whole camp. You can literally walk in the front between the 2 gunners and do your quest. You can run up on the roofs and they won't get off the gun.

great vid desmond, i think you made a good point about using continuous for aiming instead of press. ive been using press since i bought the game, and i have "hold breath" set to "release" so i can aim and hold breath with one input. i thought this was genius at first but it only works if i stop moving before i aim lol. think i might switch to continuous and at least give it a try

I will say, there are like 2 spawns on lighthouse where you being a BEAR cuts off your ability to push inward and you're basically forced into early PVP with another spawn. Not a big deal for kitted raids but if I'm tryna farm rogues or do some budget tasking it was annoying. I picked usec for the first time this wipe and it has made lighthouse so much less painful
@@snap1327 For sure more confident in my abilities to win pvp. Major changes to the core mechanics of the game make a huge difference. I started patch 11.7 and I thought I was good at the game pvp wise (b4 inertia), when inertia was introduced I had to basically re-learn the games movement lmao. Also try to get rid of gear fear as quick as you can, since having better guns, ammo and armor *always* makes your odds of survival higher.
If you play on toggle aim, you can get your hold breath set to right mouse release so if you aren't in motion it holds your breath so you don't have to hit Alt key(or whatever bind you have) to hold breath.
Yeah but, then you have no control. I hate it. I run my lean on forward/back on mouse, so I have my hold breath on Q. Works everytime and I don't have it wasting my breath time everytime I want to pull up my gun.
Insuring everything solo might not be the play this wipe. Scavs will loot your gear and now if a scav have your gear and is alive at the end of the raid you don't get your insurance back.
Tarkov players are impressive to me. I love looter shooters and pvp but the quests in tarkov makes the game terrible. The fact my stash starts out microscopic and I have to spend hours collecting random items and grinding out brain dead quests that seem to love to force players to camp is so boring. I enjoy pvping but the fact tarkov basically forces you to quest and grind up skills to have a chance is so painful and boring. How do you guys actually have fun doing this cause I love the pvp in Tarkov and the extraction looter shooter aspect but the questing and money grinding is to annoying for it to be worth it.
The questing is the only thing making this somewhat bearable lol Once ppl have finished their quests everybody just stops moving and camps Timmies 😂 Which is why everybody hates latewipe: cuz everybody is just sitting still waiting for ppl to walk into their traps. As long as ppl have quests to do they HAVE to move across the map, which creates organic encounters instead of set-up deathtraps in chokepoints.
@@Schimml0rd Idk it’s so much more fun just running around w keying and pvping instead of sitting still camping or mindlessly doing quests. Also I noticed way more people rat early wipe for quests since they are more about losing their kit and also need specific kills like sniper kills so they just sit and rat.
