    I see you planted L. sp. Pantanal in July, but I don't recognize it in the September 2014 shot anymore. As I've been having problems with L. sp. Cuba, I was wondering if you managed to keep your sp. Pantanal alive and kickin'.

    I was told by a person that I'm crazy for liking some tanks to focus more on plants than fish... so I'm going to either buy or maybe even make a massive tank (maybe 500+ gallons) in the distant future and scape it with no fish just to piss off people like that

    • @Luckingsworth
      @Luckingsworth 5 лет назад +1

      Good luck with that. Even if you could afford the tank (no offense but you cant) the support needed to actually safely hold the weight of the water is likely going to cost just as much if not more to upgrade your house. 500 gallons is along the lines of 3 tons of weight. Unless your house is thick concrete slab, your floor cant handle it. And even then you risk cracking the foundation by putting so much stress on it. And that's not talking about the actual wood flooring itself.

      Pumice is a common product of volcanic eruptions (Plinius formation and ignition) and generally forms zones above the lava silicate. Pumice varies in density according to the thickness of the solid material between waves; many samples float in water.
