I have an idea for the standings. How about if you award points to the AI drivers that the human players replace? If the player gets a podium, that AI gets 3 points. 4th-6th is 2 points, and 7th-10th is one point. This would put the 2 Williams drivers (and the Sauber driver from race one) ahead of Adam, and he would naturally be in a slightly better car without having to cheese anything. You, Rasin & Tom get your championship battle, you add those missing AI drivers in to the points table and it gives Adam something to do too. He also would be getting points for the AI when he gets a better car, and that might affect which car he gets the following race.
I think that the issue Rasin was saying about the standings, that nobody really understood was that there will always be at least one driver in the Williams, so Albon and Sargeant will never move up the standings, thus stopping Adam getting a better car.
Yes it's a fair point, but this is also why I've weighted it towards the slower cars, because the odds of the slowest cars scoring points is super low anyway
I do get why people might be annoyed, but you are right, although this kind of nuance often gets lost in comments 😂 At the end of the day, if Tom didn't give himself a 10s, he'd be getting P2 worst case and there'd be no games to play
It is all because of the lap before. Alex passed Tom, then held him up. That made Tom not want to take that chance again, so he weaved as a warning, and it all went wrong. Obviously Alex didn't want any of that to happen, but if there is blame, it is mostly his fault for the silly games on the last few laps, but it is 100% not done with any malice, just a miscalculation.
i think you should base the team you drive for solely on the last race's performance, so that if someone screws up and comes last, they have redemption in a redbull. Otherwise, the top drivers in the standings will always be in Williams/Sauber.
I understand why you deafen, but is there anyway you can put the others voice chat in via editing. As thats the only part I'd want to improve on is being able to always hear what the others are saying
A lot of the chatter is just about their races, most of them don't mute at all so it's just a load of stuff that doesn't affect my POV at all. Like "I'll overtake on the left" type stuff in a DRS train. It worked better with Ben because we only unmuted when we actively wanted to speak to each other, rather than constant chat. I do try and undeafen though, but I'm trying to do my own commentary and talk about my race, which doesn't really work when there's constant chatter
That garbage at the end with you deliberately messing up Tom's race was not cool. I like you when you race, strategize, etc. I don't like you when you do this nonsense.
@@AlexGillonGaming I get that, and if he didn't have the penalty and it was a straight fight for the win, then it would be fine, but it was actually exciting to see if he could get the 10 seconds on Alonso and Norris. From his point of view, he was sweating doing qualy laps and you just ruined it all for him for literally no reason.

Tom is gonna be his main rival why would he help him pull away from others. I understand people would be mad if he did it to Adam or Rasin. Game is game
It's true, but I actually think it ends up looking worse because I didn't mean to 😂 Like it's one thing to say "you're my rival, I'm going to compromise you" and it's another to go "whoops I was messing about and cost you positions" I'm always the villain no matter what 💀😂

If this was the final race of the championship, then sure, feel free to hold him up as much as possible. But the second race of the season? It all feels a bit too unnecessary.

Yea I've been considering moving it to a 3 race moving average or something. But obviously the top drivers in the standings don't need an upgraded car
