Well done on the redesigns. I've seen a lot of Lala4ever's oc, other than the rainbow tipped wings I thought she was very pretty. The tips just seemed a bit much to me, but of course that's just me.

honestly lala4ever's rainbow splash did not deserve the hate that it got
honestly rainbow splash (by lala4ever) was not a bad oc to me, it was just like you said, the default ms paint colors. lol.
I never really minded her either, my brain just really doesnt like the way the colors are put onto the character .-----.

Your rainbow splash looks gorgeous ✨. Though I think the name "mystic prism" fits her more now.
Now unique names for the others -
For the seapony, a name related to seaweeds would work, as her mane looks like one (are there any species of colorful seaweeds/corals to draw inspiration from?)
The umbrum can have a name related to their spirals, or their mist like mane (rainbow swirl? Rainbow mist?)
The windigo one should have a name related to clouds/winds, as to fit with their soft like appearance.
Call the sherbet pony Sherbet. Done.

I am actually working on a part two! Its just taking a while because these redesigns take a shocking amount of work- and things have just been insane. Moving, taking care of horses, dealing with winter, and now Im moving again. I'll probably finish up part 2 after I get moved into the new place and things arent as crazy all the time
