I love Twilight's more princessy vibe and Pinkie Pie's outfit! And I think the reason Pinkie looks a little off is that due to her round features and pink skin the design reads pig not pony. Even her adorable boots unintentionally sell the pig vibe.
People complaining about your RD and Rarity having very average body types that aren't even plus-sized is kind of astounding...athletic people and fashionistas can be thicker than the average super-slim doll and there's nothing wrong with that! I adore your designs so much. They feel so perfect and full of life! The personalities just immediately pop out! Thank you so much for creating them 💕 My fave is Pinkie because I adore pastels!!! I think the boots are sooo her

I kinda get it tbh. Like shy eco girl the aesthetic makes sense. Maybe making her look lankier like her as a filly??? Idk i feel like Fluttershy with her personality would wear like oversized stuff not only as a shyness thing wanting to hide herself but would protect her arms when working with plants or animals
I always assumed it was to keep animals from choking her with bigger shirts or to keep them from getting tangled in the sleeves- but looking back at it it really doesnt make any sense 💀
@@gobsmr it depends from person to person but I personally as a shy person feel so awkward and self conscious when using a tank top without a sweater or something. Im getting better with it but every now and then I just cannot wear my cute tank tops because I just feel too weird and exposed

Okay, I've never written comments but I feel like I HAVE to point out how good not only your designs but also your video in general! I like the choice of music on the background, your voice sounds confident and you definitely know what you are talking about. The criticism of dolls is on point too, honestly they scared me when I saw them as a teen lol. And the memes in-between make the atmosphere so lively. The only thing I would point out is that sometimes memes are louder then your voice and it really hits the ears when they appear and also I think it was on Rainbow Dash moment or somewhere near when you can hear outside sounds like paper rustling And the designs absolutely slay, the colors you use suit them perfectly and the clothes match them so much, I think those are the best equestrians designs I've ever seen! The body shapes also say much about their character, what an awesome work! Keep going with the RUclips activity, you are natural!

My initial impression was the character designs were going for a anime-style appearance. Then again, many dolls for young girls have the same characteristics you see in anime: big eyes, big head, relatively human proportions, and a small mouth to accentuate the eyes more. Feels like that’s what they were going for.

I think you really improved upon representing each character's personality through their design! I also think giving Pinkie yellow rainboots is such a cute idea, and it just seems so strangely like something EG pinkie would wear. I think you did a great job with all of these designs!

I agree. I think Rarity would be slimmer and honestly the outfit was a miss to me (better than OG though). I liked the idea of her being older but she looks like a middle aged woman and idk if it was supposed to be like that. The art looks stunning as always, however.
I actually disagree! I think Rarity is very body positive and would be naturally a little thicker to encourage her "natural body". Her boutique would center around being size inclusive. It's also cute to imagine her being a little softer in comparison to Apple Jack's more muscular build as they are GFs.

i was OBSESSED with equestria girls as a kid but even back then the designs scared me LMFAO you have such an amazing and varied sense of style that captures each girl so well!! i wish wish wish we could've had these designs instead of... I’m sure that 10 y/o you and 10 y/o me would’ve been great friends, because MLP and FNAF also took up like 90% of my brainspace at that time 😭💦 Anyways long comment ahead, here’s my design thought dump!! I imagine Rarity to be curvier like your design, but also taller! The Draculaura body type fits Pinkie best imo, and I love to see crazy height variety. I LOVE the Marilyn Monroe inspo, Rarity gives off those vibes of a timeless classic beauty. Your Fluttershy design was also my favorite. I might’ve given her undershirt a peter pan collar with a butterfly brooch(?)but the choker feels modern in a way that would appeal to doll collectors! This redesign gives off a real animal activist feel through the art alone, which is a testament to your design skill. THANK YOU THANK YOU for changing AJ’s hairstyle. There was always something off about how it’s originally drawn, and your redo totally rids her of that weirdness. Also 🤍🤍🤍 the change from blue denim to brown. It might not make design sense for the movie taking place in a high school, but for a fashion doll she’d look amazing. I mean this in the best way possible, Rainbow Dash reminds me of a Sonic Drive-Thru employee with her fanny pack, the red jacket and skates-I used to work there haha so she brought back memories. Her hair is SO creative!!! I am a firm Pinkie Pie hair sprinkles truther 💕💕💕so this design is a yes from me. I think roller skates would look fitting in a Pinkie design, but the rain boots are also v charming! I can imagine them splattered with glitter paint

It’s funny how polar opposite MLP and FNAF are. But, it kind of feels like The Living Tombstone really sort of bridged that gap. Uniting fans of both or either franchise. There is one they both have in common that anyone could admire though: great storytelling with good characters.
I wish you kept AJ's flared pants in your draft sketch! They look way better than the jean skirt thing Twilight's redesign looks a bit off but i cant tell why, the others look magnificent though!

I'm so late, but the designs are really pretty. Honestly, I love Twi and Fluttershy's outfit the most, they're adorable. I remember watching MLP when I was little and didn't think too much about their designs/outfits. I just enjoyed it because friendship and I thought they looked cute. Looking back, they do feel odd. They definitely suffer from same face syndrome. But I do enjoy the use of a variety of body shapes. I do hope you make more cause they're gorgeous. Also, the intermissions were interesting. I need the video of Pinkie Pie slaying. 😅

There’s something about people that wear rain boots as regular shoes that give me the vibe that they’re goofy, quirky (non-cringy), and very in touch with their inner child which I all think describes Pinkie Pie pretty well
I remember having so many equestria girls dolls (fluttershy was my fav). I never had an applejakc doll, so when i played with them i imagined applejack was on vacation lol. I love these designs and your art!
Two minutes in and I GOTTA mention something about the dolls. I was, much like you, into FIM at that point in time (though not to a huge degree), but also veeeeeeery much a fan of Gen 1 Monster High + Ever After High. I had about 30 dolls, most gotten new-- getting rid of them remains one of my biggest regrets. :( never think you're too old for things that bring you joy, kids. Anyway, that to say, I was looking at both Equestria Girls and Monster High as they came out. They were contemporaries!! You also have to consider other doll lines of the time, too-- a few that I remember looking at are Novi Stars, obviously Barbie (though that's the same company as MH so eh), Bratzillas, Cutie Pops, and Pinkie Cooper. The year /before/ Equestria girls W1 (2013), the Liv dolls were discontinued (2009-2012). If you're curious about some other dolls of that timeframe, I highly recommend the blog Toybox Philospher. She reviewed/reviews dolls, ranging from playline all the way up to BJDs and like, Integrity-type brands. That to say, wanting more from friggin' /Hasbro/ of all companies is sooooo not being spoiled by new quality. I never touched Equestria Girls in large part because of how weird they looked and the blatantly poor quality. If I'm getting dolls, I want to be able to properly dress them up and pose them. Permanent plastic "clothes" and five points of mobility made me nope out hard and never look at them agaim. I have OPINIONS about dolls, haha. Came for the FNAF redesigns-- love them btw, you have a really interesting vision that I'd very much love to see in an actual game ala Indigo Park-- staying for your lovely attitude and overlapping interests. Excited to see this vid, the next, and then you doing a ooak of your Fluttershy! Also that MH redesign vid...very curious what your hot takes are on that front.
omg i used to watch Rainbow Rocks so much that i have the whole soundtrack memorized as well as that one part where Twilight goes "sUNsEt ShiMMer, wE NeED yOU!" with a hand reaching out for no reason at all.
I love all of these so much! now that you point it out pinkie pie's eqg design is REALLY bad 😭 but i totally agree the overalls and rain boots are super cute! and i love the confetti in her hair. also i would recommend for your videos maybe turning up all the volume, i had this on full volume and it was still a little quiet
in my big age of 19, i finally realized the boots are to mimic the calf's shape on the pony versions. but i still absolutely hate it. 10/10 redesigns, extra points for not having the atrocious boots.

I remember even as a kid always thinking these movies were weird for putting the mane 6 in high school. like they're adults?? are they not adults?? they all own property and have jobs no high schooler is running a fashion business or a farm or owning an apartment in canterlot that they don't even use. I understand why they did it. but I always sorta pictured the ponies being different ages and different maturity levels so I'm glad you mentioned that!
Looking back, I hate hate HATE the og designs of the Equestria Girls series. They all had to have boot-styled shoes to I guess make them look hoof-like, but it's just so tired and lazy. I'm glad that the newer designs had their feet designs branch out and no longer look like strange hoof legs. My favorite design of yours is Fluttershy. I feel like she would dress a little more like a hippie and probably cover up a little bit more.

I imagine Rarity to be curvier like your design, but also taller! The Draculaura body type fits Pinkie best imo, and I love to see crazy height variety. I LOVE the Marilyn Monroe inspo, Rarity gives off those vibes of a timeless classic beauty.
Your Fluttershy design was also my favorite. I might’ve given her undershirt a peter pan collar with a butterfly brooch(?)but the choker feels modern in a way that would appeal to doll collectors! This redesign gives off a real animal activist feel through the art alone, which is a testament to your design skill.
THANK YOU THANK YOU for changing AJ’s hairstyle. There was always something off about how it’s originally drawn, and your redo totally rids her of that weirdness. Also 🤍🤍🤍 the change from blue denim to brown. It might not make design sense for the movie taking place in a high school, but for a fashion doll she’d look amazing.
I mean this in the best way possible, Rainbow Dash reminds me of a Sonic Drive-Thru employee with her fanny pack, the red jacket and skates-I used to work there haha so she brought back memories. Her hair is SO creative!!!
I am a firm Pinkie Pie hair sprinkles truther 💕💕💕so this design is a yes from me. I think roller skates would look fitting in a Pinkie design, but the rain boots are also v charming! I can imagine them splattered with glitter paint
i personally feel like rainbow dash would have a more thin/athletic build, but i love these

It’s funny how polar opposite MLP and FNAF are. But, it kind of feels like The Living Tombstone really sort of bridged that gap. Uniting fans of both or either franchise. There is one they both have in common that anyone could admire though: great storytelling with good characters.

I’m so glad your redesign of rainbow dash gave her pants! While Applejack definitely seems tomboyish, Rainbow Dash absolutely gives me the vibes of the kind of tomboys that refuse to where anything remotely feminine

I'm so late, but the designs are really pretty. Honestly, I love Twi and Fluttershy's outfit the most, they're adorable. I remember watching MLP when I was little and didn't think too much about their designs/outfits. I just enjoyed it because friendship and I thought they looked cute. Looking back, they do feel odd. They definitely suffer from same face syndrome. But I do enjoy the use of a variety of body shapes. I do hope you make more cause they're gorgeous. Also, the intermissions were interesting. I need the video of Pinkie Pie slaying. 😅

There’s something about people that wear rain boots as regular shoes that give me the vibe that they’re goofy, quirky (non-cringy), and very in touch with their inner child which I all think describes Pinkie Pie pretty well

Two minutes in and I GOTTA mention something about the dolls.
I was, much like you, into FIM at that point in time (though not to a huge degree), but also veeeeeeery much a fan of Gen 1 Monster High + Ever After High. I had about 30 dolls, most gotten new-- getting rid of them remains one of my biggest regrets. :( never think you're too old for things that bring you joy, kids.
Anyway, that to say, I was looking at both Equestria Girls and Monster High as they came out. They were contemporaries!! You also have to consider other doll lines of the time, too-- a few that I remember looking at are Novi Stars, obviously Barbie (though that's the same company as MH so eh), Bratzillas, Cutie Pops, and Pinkie Cooper. The year /before/ Equestria girls W1 (2013), the Liv dolls were discontinued (2009-2012).
If you're curious about some other dolls of that timeframe, I highly recommend the blog Toybox Philospher. She reviewed/reviews dolls, ranging from playline all the way up to BJDs and like, Integrity-type brands.
That to say, wanting more from friggin' /Hasbro/ of all companies is sooooo not being spoiled by new quality. I never touched Equestria Girls in large part because of how weird they looked and the blatantly poor quality. If I'm getting dolls, I want to be able to properly dress them up and pose them. Permanent plastic "clothes" and five points of mobility made me nope out hard and never look at them agaim.
I have OPINIONS about dolls, haha. Came for the FNAF redesigns-- love them btw, you have a really interesting vision that I'd very much love to see in an actual game ala Indigo Park-- staying for your lovely attitude and overlapping interests. Excited to see this vid, the next, and then you doing a ooak of your Fluttershy! Also that MH redesign vid...very curious what your hot takes are on that front.
omg i used to watch Rainbow Rocks so much that i have the whole soundtrack memorized as well as that one part where Twilight goes "sUNsEt ShiMMer, wE NeED yOU!" with a hand reaching out for no reason at all.
I love all of these so much! now that you point it out pinkie pie's eqg design is REALLY bad 😭 but i totally agree the overalls and rain boots are super cute! and i love the confetti in her hair. also i would recommend for your videos maybe turning up all the volume, i had this on full volume and it was still a little quiet
Rollerskating Dashie makws for a fun compliment to Scooter Scootaloo, while also letting her "glide" fast without wings.
in my big age of 19, i finally realized the boots are to mimic the calf's shape on the pony versions.
but i still absolutely hate it. 10/10 redesigns, extra points for not having the atrocious boots.

I remember even as a kid always thinking these movies were weird for putting the mane 6 in high school. like they're adults?? are they not adults?? they all own property and have jobs no high schooler is running a fashion business or a farm or owning an apartment in canterlot that they don't even use. I understand why they did it. but I always sorta pictured the ponies being different ages and different maturity levels so I'm glad you mentioned that!
Looking back, I hate hate HATE the og designs of the Equestria Girls series. They all had to have boot-styled shoes to I guess make them look hoof-like, but it's just so tired and lazy. I'm glad that the newer designs had their feet designs branch out and no longer look like strange hoof legs.
My favorite design of yours is Fluttershy. I feel like she would dress a little more like a hippie and probably cover up a little bit more.
love the redesigns, the videos for the transition between characters deceased me though (for some reason the olafvids had me rolling i literally teared up not sure why)
