I think best use is for fans and lights because as voltage reduces, torque reduces much more.So power tools at severely reduced torque wont drill,or cut or grind nearly as effectively whereas as fan cutting thru air wont have the same relative load.
It works fine when not under load you mean... add a load, like running wood through a router, the router will not maintain set speed which is unlike expensive routers that have speed control built-in.
How many motors have ya burned up so far? All single phase AC motors require 50-60hz at their listed voltage rating... this module acts as a variable driver but cuts down the voltage for single phase motors... which is a NO NO. Your motors will only last so long before they burn up.. dont use these!
Been looking at these over here in the UK for my pond pump and air pump thank you 👌
Prefect! I'm glad you were able to find what you needed.
I’m using it as a soft start for my miter saw on my inverter in my work trailer.
That sounds like a good use for it.
Great review. Now I jus gotta dig one up...
You should!
Great review. I like how you can adjust the speed of various rotating appliances and tools. How long is the power cord?
It has a three foot long power cord.

Great point! I was just saying that to a friend of mine.

Thank you for the feedback.
If you need to maintain useable torque(ie power tools) I think only solution is a VFD(variable frequency drive)...very cost prohibitive.
I did notice the torque issue. Thank you for commenting.
I have nothing on that. I'm sorry. The torque is lost with the variable speed motor.
Do they have any with a higher amperage output?
I am not aware of any other options. I apologize for not being able to provide more assistance.
Should work for adjusting the speed of, say, a 1½ hp electric motor?
Where do i get one? Want to polish knife handles and sheaths.
I got mine from Amazon. I have an affiliate link in the video description or you can search on Amazon for the Zowzea Ac motor speed controller.
@@SLVRBCKTROOP - thnx 😊
No problem 👍
Can i use it to control the speed of my 0.5hp water pump?
As far as I know you could do that. But I honestly down have any experience with it.
مرحباً أنا من مصر لأ أجدها
I'm sorry, but I don't have information about whether the product is available for sale at that location.
شكرا أتمنا يكون في فيديوهات جديده
They don't work on power tools. You completely loose torque.
Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing. I’ve only used it a few times with my grinder for some very lightweight touches on some pieces to establish a line.
