On the topic of skipping cutscenes: did you know that due to his Genshin's cutscenes are rendered in real time (think when talking to a Skyrim npc), it's actually not possible to add a skip cutscene button on an engine level. Someone actually did a video on unstoppable cutscenes (I forgot who) and that stuck with me. But I'm glad for those who skip cutscenes to get that button here in ZZZ.
I don’t know as for you, but for me zzz’s style is kinda….not from hoyoverse. I know it’s different game and all, but for me it is more like hi3, and more 3d. And the design is not so fitting for big game as genshin, hsr and etc. again, I know it’s different, and means that hoyo is making progress, but still it reminds me more some brawl stars, because of design, how buttons and made. I just wouldn’t try it, if it wasn’t from hoyo. And the letter style, is too…like for childish game. After all this, I still will try it. p.s. - looks like zzz is hoyo’s new fav child, let’s wait for 50 pulls per patch in hsr
Skip feature means I do not need to be invested in the story regardless of how good or bad it is. People say WuWa's story is great but I wouldn't know. Skip is there so I skip. Most likely true for a lot of people. The absence of a skip forces people to interact with the story. There will be people who will button smash regardless, but there would be a lot more who will give the story a chance and maybe get hooked into the world and the game cause of the story. But hey, if combat is what they want to focus, then the story is possibly trash enough to skip so all is good. Just that, without that hook, people will just like the characters for their cool-factor rather than, well, the character. And it'll be easier to quit the game since I don't have any attachment to the characters and the world since I skipped everything just to gacha gacha gacha like most gacha games. I mean don't get me wrong, the world looks cool and so does the NPC, but that novelty will not last long. Without anything to interest us in the world just than "oh that looks cool," this would be a mediocre game at best in terms of popularity and sales after the initial hype. Well I guess a flop is a first for MHY after GI and HSR. It is what it is.

I know it's a bad idea In genshin, being forced to mash through all the dialogue made me say, fine, I'll just read it once. Low and behold, as soon as I got invested, I now like the world quests more than the character story quests In WUWA, it's so hard to even force yourself to get immersed cuz the button is just so easy and right there, you also don't realise how much dialogue you skipped and how much story you missed out on. In genshin, even if you mash through a little bit, you know how much and what you might have missed cuz you can still skim through the context I know why it would be good for your channel specifically but unless a game's story is straight butt cheaks, I'd rather be forced to experience it

And having the smallest open world experience out of them all (because it's not open world). And on PC it's the same size as hsr and barely 20gb smaller than genshin. It just doesn't make sense. Game will do great cuz it is a hoyoverse game but i hope that the leaks about needing to use the resin/stamina system for story is a lie.
